My building doesn't. Although fortunately I don't have to buy gas--our building buys big tanks of gas that is hooked up to all the units and shared by all.
the canisters hold propane/buthane. I think piped gas in the US is mostly natural gas, isnt it? SOME areas of Brazil have piped natural gas, but its all new infrastructure and mostly to industries.
