It is not that hard. Use a Empty as your focus object and keyframe the position of it.

Dude, it's a pretty messy method, you might just want to wait till it's officially released.

If not, just visit luxrender . net and try to understand what this is. It's nothing like the internal renderer, so you might want to do some pretty serious reading first.

ive noticed subtle differences like depth of field and other things like the onode editor can mean huge difference between a plain render and a nice movie quality production, weird huh? :P keep up the good work

Working with nodes is indeed a blessing. Hope I'll get into it some day. :p

This was all done while I was playing guitar, drawing, watching po... I mean reading about the 4th dimension, chewing gum and basically just staring at the log of the render engine.

No nodes were used :D

@agent47crows i too read about the 4th dimension :P yeh im still trying to wrap my head wround nodes aswell, i model my stuff when im listening to music or watching a movie, it makes it even more fun to do

Also, and this I like a lot, if you get the chance to be visited by your 4th dimension evaluator or you're visiting her, you can let SLG render while you undergo testing. I think it's a win-win situation. (unless your 4th dimension evaluator is pissed by the very loud PC fans)
