  • In fact, Saint Michael told Joan go to the Shrine of Salnit Catherine and take the swoard wich vwas under the Altar.

The video is ovbious. Is about Saint Joan of Arc.

More, she is wearing like a soldier.

    Jus like Saint Joan did.

  • Saint Joan was white-skin and long black hair. As the testimony of her contemporaries says.

    She was beauty.

  • The video is much "futurist" ??

The young girl is Saint Joan of Arc.

The two other are Saint Catherine of Alexandria and Saint Margaret. The two Saint Patrons of Siant Joan. That's why they appear helping Joan.

The man with the two gairls is supossed to be Saint Michael, the Arcangel. Who speak to Saint Joan with the two Saints. This is why they give the swoard to Joan at the begenning of the video. And the young king is the king of France. To whom Saint Joan re-conquest the crwon in 1431.

  • That girl is Irene Bustamante...

but who the hell is that blond godness in red...whose carry book when it is open on the page whith eagle...

sorry for my english, it's not perfect...

  • @Samael666TDLoR

I'm not sure but i think our blond godness name was Lena Jinnegren and the other one is Florence Dedam. ;)

  • @Samael666TDLoR

The video is about Saint Joan of Arc.

The girl to whom is given the swoard.

The other two girls are Saint Catherine of Alejandria and Saint Margaret.

The Saint Patrons of Saint Joan.

Obiously they make them look like that in the video. But this sis the point.

The young king is the king of france.

  • who is the girl on the video?

  • I thought it was on the lines of Excaliber I first seen this video on the classical channel while flicking through the music channels. It had me gripped since then i havent been able to find it until now when their cd was advertise last night. Brilliant video love the medieval

  • MY FAVORITE VIDEO!

  • Wonderful music and video!! I love it!!

  • searched up real music got this HELL YA

  • Nice video, great music.

  • WE si noles gusta nolo miren

  • @NoobNota retard

  • @NoobNota haven't you ever heard of a 'battle sister'???!!! they where the female warriors... and what do you think of the amazons?? they where there in the medieval age... duhh!!!!

  • @kinagrill The amazons was from greek mythology.... and they are believed to live in Asia, or stuff like that, not wherever that is. And "Battle Sister" seems to be some warhammer character... Besides, it seems that sword is supposed to represent Excalibur, which is supposed to be picked up by the king etc etc. So im just saying, this doesnt fit very well into our world history. And that i think its lame

  • Comment removed

  • @NoobNota Wrong. There are recordings of Amazons in Great Britain. Look up a woman named Wulfruna from a place called Woolpit and find out about their culture. As to the sword, Excalibur was supposed to be a plain but beautiful sword "drawn" by Arthur either from the lake or from the stone.... it is it's mythological properties that make people think it must have been fancy... and Arthur was a TITLE, not a name.

  • The lord of the rings in 3 and a half minutes XD !

  • is that sword the Excaliber?

  • could be, the hilt seems way too big however and looks different to the one shown in Excaliber but then again since its legend we have no idea on what the proper sword would look like so this one could be closer to it then Excaliber was or vise versa :o

  • @snakeboymax This song is called "THE MASS" it's by ERA

  • what's the name of this movie

  • @Mr696lucifer696 it's not a movie, it's a music video.

  • WHO IS THE GIRL????' 0:21

  • Beautiful, special, unique music, wonderful video!

  • Thanks Ktty I love this music

  • awesome

  • Era ist so schön einfach nur geil!!!

    mfg Rastar

  • Hi amandadarroch. If you meant what is the title of Era's original version of this song it is called "Divano."

  • k locazo esta cancion lo busaba hace tiempo pero no sabia ucal era el nombre

    ^^

  • Ive been looking for the orignial version of this song for AGES! can anyone help me out? whats it called?

  • the original is called "carmina burana" by carl orff. Though I gotta warn ya, while it IS the original, it's nowhere near as good as this version.

  • No it's 'O Fortuna' by Carl Orff, Carmina Burana is just another person who made a version of it.

  • Well said, sir. Well said. I only wish I had something to reward you with :-(

  • Quick question...

What is this type of music called?

With all the chanting and stuff?

  • Gregorian chant.

  • I believe it would be called Gregorian.

  • Carmina Burana is called a cantata. And, as this clip from Era is quite similar, I believe it should be called cantata instead of gregorian chant. Well, it is not a gregorian chant, that is obvious.

  • genial estupendo

  • Nice clip

  • gr8 song !

  • Toda la musica de Era es buena...

  • what a fake sword lol

  • Have you SEEN ceremonial swords?

  • is it just me, or did they steal parts from 'o fortuna'?

  • Yes, it is the part of O Fortuna and Carmina Burana

  • Neelor, DSon't get me wrong, I like this and I appreciate yoru efort in translating the lyrics but I have to disagree that it is part of O Fortuna, least of all O Fortuna. It is certainly very much stylized from Carmina Burana, and a number of other similar midieval themes but other than a few repeated chords it isn't any part of O Fortuna. It doesn't even hold a candle to Orff's work, especially the 1968 DG recording with the German Orchestra of Berlin conducted by Eugen Jochum.

  • No problem. And I didn't say that all parts are from O Fortuna. Only a part from Carmina Burana (melody as well) Regards

  • nije moj stil glazbe, ali dobra je pjesma. Svida mi se...

  • Intresting end.. ;) I guess the kid would never be able to lift a sword like such. In reality it would be too heavy. But well.. never watch musicvideos according to logic. Nice song however. ;)

  • You underestimate kids :) They are able to lift even bigger swords, I have a lot experience with them, so I know what I am talking about - Knight's and medieval time societes :D Regards

  • 2:39 BEST idiots,that i ever seen! LoL

  • MAN I 100% agree with YOU.

  • this song portrays a message can ney1 declasify it

  • uuuuuuuuuffffffffffffffffffaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

  • good

  • is there a translation for this??

  • The language, although beautiful, is made up. It's based off of Latin, that's the best I could tell you.

    I hope that helps.

  • Part of this is O Fortuna, which does have a meaning. "Divano" is taken from an Era song, it's made up.

  • Ah, I wasn't aware. Thanks for the info :)

  • Look at the O Fortuna

  • This time it is oryginal Latin song: O Fortuna, O Fortune, velut luna like the moon statu variabilis, you are changeable, semper crescis ever waxing aut decrescis; and waning; vita detestabilis hateful life nunc obdurat first oppresses et tunc curat and then soothes ludo mentis aciem, as fancy takes it; egestatem, poverty potestatem and power dissolvit ut glaciem. it melts them like ice.

  • Sors immanis Fate - monstrous et inanis, and empty, rota tu volubilis, you whirling wheel, status malus, you are malevolent, vana salus well-being is in vain semper dissolubilis, and always fades to nothing, obumbrata shadowed et velata and veiled michi quoque niteris; you plague me too; nunc per ludum now through the game dorsum nudum I bring my bare back fero tui sceleris. to your villainy.
  • Sors salutis Fate is against me et virtutis in health michi nunc contraria, and virtue, est affectus driven on et defectus and weighted down, semper in angaria. always enslaved. Hac in hora So at this hour sine mora without delay corde pulsum tangite; pluck the vibrating strings; quod per sortem since Fate sternit fortem, strikes down the strong man, mecum omnes plangite! everybody weep with me!
  • It this what you wanted? Regards

  • beautiful production

  • don't you see the symbolics here?

  • uoooooooooooooooooo

  • witchcraft? or magic?

  • i like it

  • a quick question:

    Which language is it ?

if I wanna know more about it and it and more(languag, religion),where can I get more information? Thanks :)

I just play UO,but I dont familiar with the culture backgroud .

read bible will help or not ?

  • It's pseudo-Latin.. not the regular Latin but one they made up by them self :)

  • latin is so hard to learn , I am just leaning Japanese and Spanish .

    maybe later

  • I mean like the little king boy, the eagle which's knocking a knight of the horse, and the laaagre detailed sword. I mean it is a little bit to typical adventure.

  • The song is very good, but the film is a little bit to fancy.

  • la chica rubia vestida de rojo cual es su nombre la cancion es espectacular pero la mina como se llama

  • Como se llama la chica rubia que aparece en este video es bonita cual es su nombre

  • well the song is good very good ^_^

  • sol invictus

    Nunc obdurat

    Et tunc curat

    Ludo mentis aciem

  • This is with much better sounds. Song is Latin spoken.
