If you know how to drive them and don't mind dragging on stuff and body damage ;). I now have a Sammy as well and I threw a set of 30" mud tires on it and welded the rear and it's a blast to drive and very capable offroad.
I have 2 Sams. One with $ 5000 dollars on parts and a stock Samurai. My stock could keep up with a set of same tires but you'll have to push it to quiet the end to keep up with my Modified Samurai. But hey, Samurai's are built, not bought. Figure out your own customasations and it's awsome then!
They both drive awesome but a modded Samurai is the best and cheapest 4x4 terrain vehicle. And as the owner of the video say. If you know how to drive them it's ok. Get a winch first of all. ;-)
The best thing about the Sami vids on youtube is there is always someone giggling maniacally. Looks like loads of fun to me.
