All pets where normalized in a patch way back. That means all pets of the same type are the same. Ex. All cats are the same no matter if it comes from STV or Shadowmoon Valley. This does NOT mean all pets are the same. Ex. wolves are not the same as cats even though they are both Furocious spec.

I just made a night elf hunter. Its my first hunter, so does anyone know how I can get a pet? I'm lvl 5 and I am leveling up really quick. Please help, I really want a pet. I'll sub if u tell me.

at level 10 u get a quest that tells u to get a pet and bring it back, u have to get 3 different ones, then he teaches u how to get pets. u get an owl, spider and tiger i believe. then after that u can get something else.

u cant at the same time but you can put 1-2 in the stable its very pricy when ur low lvl but it good it gives you the chance to get a tenacityh ferocity and cunning pet

If you open the cat figurines, you shall see it, even if you're under its level. and it's no "prowl" they do...this would've explain "no seeing" ^^

Just for the record: The reason it dies like 2 mins after taming is because it has a despawn rate. Just res him normally and he won't die (unexpectedly :-P) again;-) Great vid m8 :-)

Yes, i take the figurines. But you can only take the CAT figurines. there arn't much of them and, yes, it's hard to get the ghostsaber. I heard from people they collected 40 figurines bevore it spawned. my both hunters collected between 6 and 10 of thm.

I've tamed a few of these on different servers. I recommend putting a frost trap down before you open a figurine. That way if it spawns a cat you can get some distance to tame and not take such a pounding :)

Most horde want to tame one as soon as they reach 20, that and the armor debuff means they are going to hurt.

Of course it's not going to be a problem at higher level, but most (not all) want the pet at low level. Part of the fun is the challenge IMO.

Lol. you can tame a ghost wolf... on my server (darkmoon faire rp (EU) ) i saw a 70 orc hunter with 1.. u can get a raremob 1 from mulgore near TB or from SFK, i think theyre called lunar somethings.. not sure

pfft in dustwallow marsh there is a ghost wolf you can tame but you need bloodlust and a special gem to cap it, only there for 8sec and tame is 20sec, it looks like the wolf from the tauren quest where you need to follow the spirit wolf
