Logic says "why use protection?" Granted miracles happen but calling her a slut and saying her not having sex would have made her alive still, is wrong. She could have terminated the pregnancy and continue treatment or stop the treatment while risking her life and giving birth to a beautiful child. She was told the cancer was terminal so it's not really like she stopped treatment for the baby, it was more a case of there not being any point in delaying the inevitable.
@thomaserossi - Not so fast there, as a survivor of brain tumors myself I remember thinking at the time I was diagnosed that I would be willing to lay down my life for something or someone noble right there and then. It's hard to explain, but when I heard this story I automatically thought that I would have traded my life for Jenni's. It's not courage, it's not selflessness, it's like you achieve a sense of self, of tragedy, and of life and death that you don't normally consciously maintain.
What is so sad and frustrating is that she could easily have been cured with cannabis oil (see "run from the cure" on YouTube) but because of the greed of the pharmaceutical corporations and the cancer industry (who seek only to treat, not to cure, more money that way) it is kept illegal.
My heart goes out to your family! What a stronge young lady she was she choose her life over the baby!! Also to the person that wrote tragic story shame on YOU!!!!
What a tragic story. I have read the cancer was responding to treatment. She and bf believed she could not become pregnant. They were wrong. Medicos refused to continue treatment after they discovered she was pregnant. If she had had a termination at 10 weeks she may have survived the cancer, to go on and be a mother to future children. Or not, I do not know the odds, I presume these were explained to her. But becoming pregnant was the fatal step. Who told her she did not need to worry ?
May baby Chad live a long and happy life, knowing that his mother loved him more than anything. What a brave, selfless girl. Rest in peace Jenni. My heart goes out to her family.

Also no parent apart from white trash would be happy for their 15 year old daughter to get pregnant, that's wrong & stupid & nothing to be proud of regardless of the circumstances.

@meganbreaksfaces A child need it's mother, that's the selfish part, knowing your going to die but continuing with the pregnancy just because 'you always wanted a kid'. It's different if a mother dies in a car crash etc but this silly girl knew her days were up.

@Steve181 Just maybe... when Jenni realized that her days were ending, it made the life of her little baby even more precious to her - a life to be protected and nurtured. This little boy will know that his mom gave him the ultimate gift and made the supreme sacrifice to do so. He will know that that his life is special and has purpose. It's really a story of love and life.

@musicismyrelease She was TOLD she wouldn't be able to have children so they didn't even worry about it. Either way she's a strong girl. She could have terminated the pregnancy and continue treatment or stop the treatment while risking her life and giving birth to a beautiful child. She has always wanted to be a mother and it's a blessing she got to experience child birth before leaving this earth!

She was told the cancer was terminal so it's not really like she stopped treatment for the baby, it was more a case of there not being any point in delaying the inevitable.

@thomaserossi - Not so fast there, as a survivor of brain tumors myself I remember thinking at the time I was diagnosed that I would be willing to lay down my life for something or someone noble right there and then. It's hard to explain, but when I heard this story I automatically thought that I would have traded my life for Jenni's. It's not courage, it's not selflessness, it's like you achieve a sense of self, of tragedy, and of life and death that you don't normally consciously maintain.

What a tragic story. I have read the cancer was responding to treatment. She and bf believed she could not become pregnant. They were wrong. Medicos refused to continue treatment after they discovered she was pregnant. If she had had a termination at 10 weeks she may have survived the cancer, to go on and be a mother to future children. Or not, I do not know the odds, I presume these were explained to her. But becoming pregnant was the fatal step. Who told her she did not need to worry ?
