  • last time i debuted the circle change and it works very well with my 4 seamer and 2 seamer

  • Hes in Dare clan.

  • gotta love change ups

  • does it matter what seams you put your fingers around on?

  • Trust me it is really important to find a good comfort zone with a change up of any kind. My last time out I debuted a Circle Change and it really was a good compliant to a 72ish mph fastball, im only 5 "8" at the moment so its really important that this pitch works for me and boy did it make pitching with a slower fastball alot easier

  • the best pitch combination is the a nice fastball and then mix it up with the changeup. the only way a batter will hit your pitch are if he gets lucky, you change your arm action, slow down or speed up your wind up or he just guess and guess right. just hit the corners or chnage speeds and you always get a batter.

  • Cool

  • my change sucks but my curve is untouchable haha

  • thats not how u hold a circle change. u put ur thumb on the bottom of the ball and put ur index finger on the side of the ball. Ex. hold ur pinkey, ring, and middle finger up and put ur index finger on the outside of ur thumb and put the ball in. VERY DIFFICULT PITCH TO THROW

  • @27AJMo Yeah he threw a palm ball. Big difference and if im not mistaken. Doesnt a palm ball move like a circle change? I've never thrown a palm, but i am quite good with a circle change.

  • @Zaku493 im not really sure haha. i think its just really slow and a worthless pitch haha. ur better off with a change up

  • @27AJMo I can't throw a basic change up to save my life lol, but my splitter is a different story. I love it so.

  • @Zaku493 ya my change sux haha. my curve is pretty good tho

  • @27AJMo Friend of mine hit a home run off my Change i never threw it again. It was at his feet to. My curve is alright i guess. I had alot of trouble learning to throw it.

  • @27AJMo lmfao hahaha

  • Circle change in supposed to move diagnally the opposite way of your slider/curveball. Like a 2 seam

  • Thanks man!

  • I is a fetus and I throw over 9000!. Get on my level

  • my hands not big enough for a circlechange

  • Cool

  • holy shit this is an amazing changeup

  • nice shirt

  • Hey ur wearing a dare t shirt I take dear right know

  • He is on a softball field?

  • Thanks dude... know ill try this one like the Knuckle ball u showed me...

  • i throw a 4 seam fastball a 2 seam cuteer and curve but my curve aint workin i think this is the pitch im goin replace it with

  • that is not a circle change .. and hes missing the main thing about throwing a change

  • I am a southpaw I throw right and bat left

  • @MappyandTwonka me to

  • No offense, but has anyone else noticed that the pitch that he's trying to demonstrate always seems to start breaking around where the catcher is crouching. this pitch, because it doesn't have as much break to it, wound up right over the heart of the plate from this guy, and the average batter would crush it if he wasn't already about to jump at a fastball

  • its All Bout Righty Pride

  • trying to become a pitcher so this helps... ALOT!!!

  • LEFTY PRIDE!!!

  • @crazydodgerfan777 WOOOOO SOUTH PAWS BABY hahaha yea im a lefty but im right handed with everthing else i do haha but i can switch hit

  • @wownerd32195 AWWWWWWWW LUKKKYYY im tryin 2 teach myself 2 hit swich lol i throw lefty and hit righty

  • nice vid mannn

  • i always have problems to bat this!!! it looks like a curve but it slows down!!

  • the circle change up is not a grip, it's a teach. any pitch in which your thumb leaves the bottom center of the ball breeds failure and inconsistency.

  • you didn't specify where the circle is on the ball? at the bending of the laces?

  • That's not how you really throw a Circle Change... Maybe if it's comfortable to you, but the other 99.9% of the world throws it with the ball cradling in their fingers. When you let it sit in the palm of your hand like that, you will throw it in the dirt every time.

  • You realize that's not a circle change. That's also not how you throw a changeup

  • Good video, but you might want to include that you throw your hand down like you're hitting something with the side of your fist.

  • DARE shirt

  • ah, so basically the way you hold the ball, helps you slow down the ball, cause all this time ive been throwing a 2 seem fastball, but just not using all my power. thanks for the tip :D

  • its hard to take you seriusly with a dare shirt on

  • @player2k09 why?

  • its hard to take you seriusly with a dare shirt on........

  • u are suppose to make the circle and ur fingers are suppose to be off the ball so u flick ur fingers thru the ball causing it to drop... so ur fingeers shouldnt really b on the ball other than ur thumb and index

  • ppl r so dam dumb and ignorant, at age 11 my friend threw seventy top, he is now seventeen and throws 91 tops he is also 6"5 and is recognized by the yankees and diamondbacks so ppl might wanna rethink on their ideas

  • I'm five years old and i can throw a 110 mph slider with my off-hand. SUCK IT, internet braggers

  • @cmillsox wow, like im going to believe u, asshole. wat 5 year old even goes on utube or pitches, and i dont think anybody has ever thrown a 110 mph fastball, nevermind a slider, gay faggot

  • @ermfine read the comment again and see if you can determine if it is sarcasm, idiot.

  • @cmillsox faggot im a lefty i throw about 60-65 and im 13 stfu

  • @cooljudedj yea noone cares

  • @cooljudedj MY FUCKING GOD. i made it as clear as possible that i was being sarcastic, and that the people bragging all over this page are retarded. like you, look up "what is sarcasm" on google.

  • thanks for teaching me all of these different pitches they will really help! So once again Thanks!!!

  • i throw a 2 seam a curveball a sinker and a knuckell ball and i throw 50 mph and i am 10 years old

  • good lesson ! one thing : the glove.... he's lettin it going behind him... bad mistake if the batter manages to hit a grounder on you. Always finish your motion with your glove on your belly side, it's also a matter of protection and security, if the ball has a bad bounce on the mound, it can hurt you really badly, so always be prepared ! Security first ! Enjoy your mound, pitchers !

  • @smeriau great advice my coach tells me that and if u watch japanese and koreans pitch they tuck there arm in for power.

  • make sure you have your glove up still in case if a line drive comes to you

  • also you have to remember to put your elbow before you throw the pitch observe on 1:39

  • i jus startd playing baseball nd i play second base. My coach tried me at pitcher and thinks i have a good arm, but ive never pitched before. Do you guys think this is a good pitch to learn for a beginner?

  • its a REALLY good pitch to learn, its starts looking like a fastball then slows down its a good pitch batters would roll over on its not like a strike out pitch but a groundball pitch or weak pop up pitch a changeup should be your second most consistent pitch next to your fastball

  • @rvhsblazers3 start with a two seam fastball, then try a sinker, then try a slider, then go for the change up. you'll find that the change up is hard to control at first but just keep practicing and you'll be making batters look silly in no time.

  • the slow mo is odd it looks as if it skips some frames

  • i throw my cicrle change diffrent where he puts his finger closed in with the circle i dont and mine drops and changes speed

  • im 15 (sophmore) on freshman team with a 70mph fastball [been playing for 1 1/2 years] and my changeups either spike 5 feet before the catcher or it goes over the umpire.

  • shut up if your 12 and you throw 74 good for you you devolped too soon and youll throw out your arm before you reach high school ball im 14 and i can just touch around 65 when im warm. i there is no way the avrage 12 year old anatomy will allow you to do that. im so sick of people lying on here and saying ooh i can throw this fast when we all know that your lying so shut the fuck up. how about that.

  • he might not be lying..when i was around that age i was throwing in my 70s..i think i was almost 14 years old throwing like 75...but ill be 19 in a month..and im throwing like 88..i been throwing in the high 80s since i was like 16...i been tring to work on getting in the 90s but i missed a year of working out...i been a hard throwing kid my whole life and i never blew out my arm..if a kid that is 12 years old and only throw 40 mph can blow his arm just as easy as a 12 year old throwing 74 mph..

  • @Mshortwitt im 12 throwing 65-70 mph

  • playing college ball and it's tough to adjust to a change after seeing a 94 mph fastball...

  • Well I'm 17 and can only throw a 69 mph fast ball... and that 11 year older.. No way you can throw a 70 mph LOL and noahmcdx I swing a 310, No way you can swing a 280 my 14 year old brother can only swing a 230.. LOL So I know your ass is lieing

  • finally i find an instructor thats left handed.

  • ya im 15 and i throw 1000000000000000 mph. SHUT THE FUCK ABOUT HOW FAST YOU CAN THROW, NOONE GIVES A SHIT!

  • much better than the other old guy video

  • @bumbanrob lol true

  • Nobody gives a shit

  • if ur really throwin 70 mph (which i dont believe) at age 11 by the time u reach your sophmore year in highschool ur arm is goin to be junk buddy

  • @lilmillsy627 i played in the llws for mexico pitched a perfect four innings game

  • @1998crazymonkey im 2 yrs old and throw 78 mph

    now go fuck urself

  • im 14 i throw around 60 to 50 but evben thopugh thts not fast i throw alot of good breaking pitches

  • lol im 14 and i throw like at 54 mph.. i know i suck

  • yea.. u suck

  • not

  • I throw at about 92 and I can drop my change up to about 79 mph. That's all I really have though. My curveball is not to sharp, but hey I'm not a pitcher I'm a 3rd basemen. I just like to pitch for fun

  • im 12 and i throw over 60!

  • dang dude! when i was twelve (know i am 13) i only pitched 55

  • my friend just got a radar gun dude i was throwing a fastball at 86 miles per hour and change ups at like 79 and im 16

  • yeah i'm 15 and i throw 85 miles

  • so do you mean that a bad picther would throw one that is going up?

  • i wish i had youtube for when i was in high school playing baseball, i would have been able to try out some of these pitches

  • thats a circle change

  • last pitch he threw wouldnt have landed yet if he threw it to me....how are you gunna hang a change up that bad? that baby should be low and outside, when it is nastiest pitch in baseball

  • cuz your wack

  • tell me why it is so hard to get it over the plate lol...i keep hitting lefties with it

  • Lhp 16 years old throwing 79-82

  • lotsd of kids can do gettin to throw to to 100 miles is hard even in the mlb daniel bard from the red sox can throw 100 miles but its takes up all his arm strength

  • Rhp 16 years about 86-82

  • Awesome video. Thanks for the help because I'm pitching in my little league game tommorow and I want a better vsriety of pitches than my last start.

  • ive been throwing my change up wrong all this time THX!!!!

  • Good how to

  • ur guna fuck upp ur arm the glove hand getting thrust back puts more tork on the throwing arm

  • the guy in the vid. needs to lower the ball if this pitch is going to do anygood for him

  • a changeup isnt supposto hit the strike zone

  • it duznt matter if mine hits the strike zone it drops from the chest to the shins 17 miles and hour slower than my fastball.

circle changes suck three fingers are better cuz they drop more. if they hit it it is an easy grounder

  • The Guinness Book of World Records recognizes Nolan Ryan as having thrown the fastest clocked pictch in a major league baseball game. His speed was 100.9 MPH in a game against the Chicago White Sox on August 20, 1974.

Mark Wohlers was clocked by radar throwing 103 MPH in Spring Training in 1995. Joel Zumaya matched this in 2006 while pitching at the McAfee Colesium in Oakland.

  • Daniel Bard for the Red Sox will beat that sooner or later.

  • Yeah Zumaya clocked at 104 earlier this season

  • @psklbz shut up Chapman 105 MPH

  • @Alexhallkiller this was added over a year ago before Chapman was even pitching in the majors. Try learning your facts before you run your mouth

  • @psklbz shut up Chapman threw 105 MPH last year in the majors. Try learning your facts before you run your mouth

  • @Alexhallkiller FACT: Aroldis Chapman made his debut on August 31, 2010 which is less then a year ago. I made that comment over a year ago so in other words before he was in the majors

  • @psklbz 2010-2011 one year difference, end of story

  • joel zumya on the detroit tigers can throw a top speed at 104.8 mph! beat that

  • haha i can go about 81 mph for about 125 pitches, i wanna get to 90+ mph by the time im in gr 12, im going into gr 11 now, i gotta hit the iron and practice more but i think its possible

  • i played to monsters who picthed at 88 and 84 one is now 15 the other is 14. I can pitch top speed around 76 miles but i can only pitch about 90 or 80 pitches not including curve change or fork

  • uguys theyare talkin bout kph(kilo's per hour) not mph when they are saying like 102 and stuff!!! god people!

  • no there not

  • i no tht some extradornary mojor league pitchers can throw 102 and stuff btu when they say tht a 14 year old is throwin lik 120 he means kph

  • I can throw in 130's.. No joke

  • The fastest recorded pitch in the history of baseball was 116 (while warming up pitcher). In game, 103 or 104.

Randy Johnson was one of the fastest pitchers in the game and his fastballs went anywhere from 98-101.

But it's cute to see you try to impress us. Try using something logical next time.

  • How about you use some logic. I throw 130KPH (80.77825MPH).

  • @Xmaggot93X sht up Chapman 105 MPH

  • @Alexhallkiller Notice that the comment is 1 year old.

Chapman threw his 106mph only 3 months ago.

    Thinkthinkthink.

  • Comment removed

  • hey nobody can throw 110's when you have 9 years old ha

    im 17 i throw fast ball 78's

  • I'm 9 and I can throw 110 mph, who thinks I can go pro? Joke people

  • strike 1

  • I know a dude who's 14 who throws around 85...atleast that's where he topped out at but he normally throws 78-79

  • hahaha,,, that bull shit , you cannot throw a 100 mph fastball, i throw 77 and im 15 and i have 5 years of pitching experence

  • What's with all you kids making up bullshit velocities? No one's buying it. I'm not sure if you think throwing hard will make it look like you're good, but I don't care how hard you throw if you can't throw strikes.

  • whhhaaaaattttt???? are you talking about? u throw 100 MPH four seam fastball? i am 15 pitched for 6 yrs and top out at 71 MPH i am 6' 210 so i get alot into it lol but ur just BULLSHITTING!

  • yeah in a videogame

  • You sucks ahah if you pitch 100's, go to the big league kids :P

  • oh yea...i throw a 40 mph eephus!!!haha

  • these little ass kids talking about they can throw 70 80 bullshit dumbass kids.

  • No u wont cuz i have good location

  • lol. okay. cant throw every pitch perfect kid.

  • mabe i can

  • i remember dare

  • im 15 and i throw low 80's four seem, 75 2 seem, 70 curve, 65 fork, 75 cutter

  • well im 13 and i throw in the 60-70 range and my fastest pitch was a 72 when i was in practice. But i dont even have any other pitches than a fast ball and thats all i need. + i have alot of control for my age.

  • im 10 and i can throw 45

  • my fave pitch is the changeup, mine drops like 4 inches and i love it, i am mainly a deceptive pitcher cuz i dont throw many fastballs, just changeup, curve, circlechange, and palm ball

  • u guys are wanna bez my four seamer can hit the mid 20s and my change up can go around 3-5 my wicked curveball can hit at least 10 and my screw ball can go around 13

  • I throw my fastball between 70-80MPH and I mix in a 50-55MPh curve 65MPH forkball and a 60 MPH circle change with a 70MPH straight change and I`m 15

  • There really is no true way to throw a changeup. I throw it like a fooball.haha i know it's weird but it's insane. And my sinker is the same grip i just throw it with my finger in front of the ball when i release it.

  • bull crap 82 mph fastball

im 13 and my fastball goes 65-70 and my change is in the mid 40's. plus i throw a curveball with a minimum 5 inch break

  • u really shouldnt throw curves until ur 15

  • u shouldnt be throwing curves yet until ur 14 or 15...its not worth it

  • well I play pitcher for my school and it helps when they have illegal players on there team then iI actuallyu have a chance of striking them out. I threw one guy a fastball in the outside corner and he sent it over the center field fence.

  • psshhh, this guy cant even throw 95 on the wii xD lol

  • im 2 and i can throw 400-460mph my change up is around 300-345mph

    COME ON GUYS!!!

NO 14 YEAR OLD CAN THROW 95!!!!!!

    CAN YOU SAY "IMPULSIVE LIAR?!?!?!?!???!?!??!?!!

  • shit boys, im 15 and my fastball is at 82-84 and change up hovers around 76

  • im fourteen i throw 78

  • Whoo!!!!!!!! Thanks...I've always wanted to know how to throw that!!!!!!!!1

  • when you throw a circle change, dont throw it like a fast ball. You throw as if your putting a sword in your sword holder. My coach told me that 4 years ago or so. now it tails, sinks, curves basically moves like a knuckle. just keep to it, and practice practice practice!
