  • her name is Lyra....code for pleidians?

  • Probably a bit late to chime in but I say leave the intro's and closing credits intact with the episodes. They feel more "complete" and it adds to my sense of nostalgia.

I had forgotten how much I LOVED the music of this series. As soon as the episode started goosebumps ran up my spine and tears welled up with the memories of "couch surfing" in my underwear with a bowl of cereal on Saturday morning getting up only to refill my bowl or to cross the room to turn the knob on the TV. (no remote)

  • Best work Filmation did. Rotoscoping rocks!

  • ALL I WANT IS THE FUNKY MUSIC FROM THIS SHOW.

  • I think the show definitely jumped the shark with this episode, just like the Flintstones did when the Great Kazoo arrived.

  • Senojelyk , I would agree if the aliens did not mean anything. Kazoo added no meaning to the Flintstones. But in this episode of Tarzan, the aliens were, I think, a stand-in for other human races- the idea that Tarzan was inferior because he is "primitive" and the aliens were superior because of their technology, culture, and civilization. It is a strong episode, it you get past the "other-worldly" storyline.

  • "we will have plenty of time"... awesome! Plenty of time! This was hilarious! I loved this episode when I was a kid, but it's even better now! Not much of an advanced race... "my... chest..." "oh... put him in the space car and I'll rush him to the medi-center" LOL! I love it!

  • One of the greatest cartoon shows of all time. I see that WB has a saturday morning cartoon DVD coming out in May with one complete Batman/Tarzan episode. It is awesome to be able to watch these here. Hopefully there will a complete DVD someday too. This along with Flash Gordon were the best 70's animation. Still hold up today.

  • thats the second cpr cartoon ive seen

  • I've been waiting forever for this to come to dvd, but now I can finally watch one of my favorite shows here. Thank you so much! I think you can cut the intro by the way, and just have it be its own clip.

  • I was intending to do so but some guys suggested to have intro too. The episode is somehow incomplete without intro. Still it is ok, i believe. Stay in touch another episode is comming.

  • the scientist sounds like a smoker!

  • For some reason, the closing in the end used to turn me on when he swings on the vine close to the screen and his foot and pecs are close up to the screen and the yell was just too sexy. I especially wanted his foot and pecs on my face.

  • Always use into and ending credits. Keep the episodes as they were intended.

    Great job and good memories.

  • What animal could have taught Tarzan CPR?

  • He is self-taught in a lot of things, including English and CPR.

  • Wow! I think it would be very hard to teach one's self CPR. But then again if anyone could do that it would be Tarzan.

  • With intro, I think, to preserve the original epsisode!

  • Great! Tarzan always does the right thing!

Its a shame todays cartoons are not very

bright and positive as Filmations efforts.

  • i agree. Imagine if filmation still exist how good cartoons they would have.

  • Very very thanks, for you put this videos from Tarzan for us...Muito Obrigado from Brazil.

  • Botarde. You are most welcome friend. I am sure all of us were missing this great cartoon. If you have any suggestions let me know. enjoy watching

    hex

  • Wagner let me ask your opinion. Do you like for next episodes to start without intro or with intro? I think if I cut the intro the episode can fit in 2 clips? Let me know
