Nitrous Oxide has more oxygn in it than regular air. So, you spray Nitrous and fuel into the motor to make more power. Unless there's a problem a racing car won't die after 1 race with nitrous. But, since they didn't have a fuel line for it, and the motor wasn't built for it it blows the motor. Just something fun to do. I want to blow up something on the dyno at work, but don't want to clean up the mess after.

@lemonchewy1 Thats an older model, my dad has a chevy lumina apv minivan that has 200k + miles on it and its rock solid, startsup the first time everytime, but take any new pos gm, dodge, or ford pumps out and they wont last, i have had 3 american cars, 2 blew head gaskets before 100k miles and the 3rd i got rid of quickly after, i have 4 toyotas now, other oil changes, i have had no reason to take them to a shop for repair ever.

I never said it was a powerful gun. Granted it was a 9mm. Still the 3.8L is a stout little engine. Could take abuse, and loved to be boosted. Was able to take a good amount of boost for a while on stock internals as well. Yes, it's still smart to get forged internals, but it is a stout engine.
