  • I was on this SAME SHIP when it happend !!! Glad they got him to safety fast! The coastguard and captian on the splendor was awesome!

  • The ship at the beginning of the video doesnt look like the Splendor but the airlift portion does????

  • I was on this ship at the time. The rescue operation was very impressive. I wish I was closer to my cabin in order to run and get my video camera to record the rescue from the ship. The cruise was late sailing on Sunday afternoon due to a mechanical problem, and this rescue had us sailing back north for 3 hours as well. Despite all this, the crew of the Splendor got us to Puerto Vallarta only 2 hours late. Kudo's to the Coast Guard and the Captain and crew of the Splendor.
