I agree that 4 strokes are better.i had a YZ125 that blew up, so i replaced it with a CRF150R which was a beast, never give me any trouble at all, i could pin it all i liked, just changed the filters and oil after every ride. my YZ125 on the other hand, 2nd time i took it out, the piston and rings went within the hour on the track, because i was pinning it up a hill for a step up. what a heap. i now have a YZF426 on my hands. ALL Hail The 4 Stroke.

If your 2 stroke ceased on your 2nd ride, its not because you were had it "pinned". You eather had major engine problems to begine with, or more likely the fuel / oil ratio was way lean. I have a Honda CR500R and ride it like I stole it all day long with no problems. Owned it for probably 5 years now and have never rebuilt the bottom end yet. I mix my oil / fuel at 50:1, a little smokey, but won't cease. ALL HAIL THE 2 STROKE! I will take on any, and I mean "ANY" 4 stroke any day.
