love your video!! still somewhat confused. i have a small growing area with early girl/big boy and blondkopchen cherry tomatos. can i save these seeds or did they all cross pollinate? if so can i still plant them to possibly get new varieties? thanks, charles
Thanks for that. I didn't know why the fermentation process was necessary. I just squirt the pulp into water, shake it up, change water a couple of times then drain most of it off; suck the mixture up into a plastic bottle with a narrow nozzle ,and squeeze it out gently in rows on paper towels. The casing around each seed is built-in glue, holding in place when dry. Next season plant the whole thing in seed raise mix, then prick the plants out while still small. High germination rate. HI I HAVE BEFFMASTER TOMATO PLANTS I BOUGHT FROM HOME DEPOT THEY ARE VERY HEALTHY AND I WANT TO SAVE THOSE SEEDS DO I USE YOUR METHOD FOR SAVING THE SEEDS . THANKS
i love heirloom tomatoes but hate paying the inflated prices for them. finding seed was also proving difficult. Now when i plant my garden next year it will be 2x as rewarding. You have made my day.
I have been gardening for 40 years and found your presentaion simple to follow and straight forward with many intresting facts about tomatos and thier seeds. I hope to see more from you.
Excellent!! Was looking for this for months! Question now is where do I find the first batch of Heirlooms?
