That depends on what you like. The Mustang is a 2+2 muscle coupe while the Vette is more of a every-mans 2 seater sports/super car. I don't think the Mustang and Vette should ever be classified in the same category or as rivals. The Camaro, Challenger, and Mustang on the other hand... are rivals.

ford guys dont bash me, you know im right. the only fords that are fast with just bolt ons are the F/I'd ones like the cobra, gt, lightning etc. pulley swap+intake+exhaust+tune is a huge gain on these cars. But chevy has some mean motors. The LS# motors respond better to bolt ons than any other car Ive seen. N/A Fords can obviously be fast, but tend to require more work (from my experience).
Im a cobra fanatic dont worry, i have sense and im not bashing you. this is such a touchy subject, i mean i used to own a 99'cobra and beat camaros every day of the week but it doesnt mean i was in a better car. The LS motors are responsive as hell to bolt ons, anyone who knows cars will tell you that. and mostly its because they are 34xci p/r vs 281mod.. the 4.6's being used respond awesome to F/I! however so do the LS motors, which already start with a greater power potential. all in all, Id sure as hell drive a camaro if I HAD to ;]

Why is the Corvette stupid? lol I have an 08 Zo6, and I use to have an 05 GT. THe mUstangs problem is obvious...it's a HUGE car! Much larger than it was even in '04! It is not a "great design"...it could of been made smaller and less square like it's prototype in '05...but instead Ford went with a brick.

the mustang does suck. just put it against a zo6 505 hp. won't stand a chance, Ford can't get right. the power/ weight ratio. 2 tons for a mustang is not a sports car its like a small truck. Ford can't get right theyre not building a f150 but a sports car. so basically the mustang is a sporty f150 crap. not a sports car. GM got it. Perfect weight distribution w/ the zo6 and perfect power/weight ratio. 3100 pounds/ 505hp= unbeleviable car. ford has a lot to learn
