Sick of this game already, had it not even a week and I can't put up with it anymore. It has an extreme lack of content and the multiplayer is just constant lagg. I'm sick of waiting 2 minutes to get into a match, bouncing around everywhere, quitting, and repeating this pattern over and over.
@Munno22 I don't expect any game to be lagg free, especially on release, that's just unrealistic. Brink on the other hand is a whole different matter, it laggs almost constantly, even games which have a fairly decent connection still have a hint of lagg.
@OZORxORON Are you playing on a PC, Xbox or PS3? PC could be due to hardware, (brink has high minimum from what I remember), and PS3 because of PSN being instable atm.
i love call of duty but i mean this is a real different gameplay than the same old freiken halo battlefield or cod games... im really looking forward to buying this... its like making call of duty like 10 times better

So giving Brink a 6 wasn't much of a surprise because of course the friggin Call of Duty fags think it's a horrible game and what not! I think it looks amazing and might be purchasing it soon :)

I had a dream i was playing black ops and i was kicking ass doing crazy free running moves and confusing enemies with them. The next day i played black ops and couldnt do any of this i think brink will literally make my dreams come true.
is it me or the graphics in this video look better than the final version? It obviously looks different because I have the game. the graphics in this video look more realistic and the final version looks cel-shaded or cartoony. I like them both but this video looks more gritty and the atmosphere feels more intense.
I played solo on this game, listened to all the advice they give you, and still was so confused for like 2 hours wondering wtf im meant to do...then i got the hang of it, and all i was doing for about 10 mins straight, was spawn camping the enemy as we had all the command posts. so stupid. i hope playing with people is heaps better, cos with AI the game is boring as shit

This game feels a lot like Mirror's edge, but done right when using guns. But the game play is weak, my brother didn't want to play with me after 20 minutes, and he is a big fan of shooters, he said the game sucked balls, he was just bored. But we play BFBC2 a lot, so he was right, the game feels bleak, they should have released it in 2012, when the world is fucking gone, that's the right time.

The game initially sparked my interest and I hoped it would be great but to many reviews have pointed out real game breaking issues. Also I'm not a COD fanboy, I hate Black Ops but loved COD 4 and MW2. I've also played Battlefield BC1 and 1942, Team Fortress 2, Crysis 2, Killzone 2 and 3 and Halo Reach. I love multiplayers, but Brink is not up to scratch and it isn't going to catch on.

not a campaign i'll remember, but the teamwork thing is epic, 8 maps, but there big (dont be turned off by the 8 map thing, c: the maps are epic) i thought being my betheda (how ever its spelled) and splash damage that the classes and guns would be uneven, there not, of course theres guns you should never use in the game like the draganov but still i say 90% of the guns are good, and the classes seems perfectly equal

Agree on the sports games (But then again I've never played one that I enjoyed, and I'm not willing to pay $80 for a new player list) and racing games (Again, never really played one that I enjoyed besides the trivial but fun Mario Kart esque games), but as for platform games, I dunno. I honestly can't imagine playing Braid on a controller, but Castle Crashers was a controller game for sure. I suppose it all boils down to personal preference.

Anyone having problems with the shoot button on PS3?... My shoot button is "sticky".. My gun starts firing, pauses for a mili-second after 3-4 bullets come out and then starts firing again....

No weapon attachments, certain weapons have been taken out, no perks or killstereaks. Just you, your headset and your skill. Ofcoruse mouse and mouse surface come in too if you want to be a scope for your team (1 scope per team, 5v5 clan v clan games).

@aeadonnis Sure I can say CoD is a shitty game, only 3 or 4 guns are viable and they're better than every other gun, it's always been like this in Call of Duty, auto aim is in all console games but CoD has the most auto aim i've ever seen, it takes little to no effort to gun down some one down. If you get caught with your back turned 100% chance you're going to die, unlike games such as Halo where you actually have a fighting chance if getting shot at from behind.

Anyone that tells you this game is good subliminally just wants you to waste money on this game and make the same MISTAKE that they made, traded this game in within 24hrs of the release date, it was a gift so I didnt have to pay for anything it was free and im still pissed for wasting my time on it!. Stupid Ai/bots, weak graphics by "todays standards", no story!. IGN & GAMESPOT review at 6.0!!, im not fuckin surprised, shit game, PS3 get Killzone 3, XBOX get Crysis 2/Gears of war 3, nuff said

for all the brink fanboys, its a really dumbed down version of tf2 in a cod template, its a horrible game with stupid class gimmicks that require you to hold the 'use' key in the exact same way :)

This game wasn't even worth the torrent download. Save your time and money with this one.
All you have to do is watch some game play videos. The only people that i see liking this game are 10 yr olds and players that are new to FPS games.

Untill a new fps comes out and no one says it's better than COD and COD players are fags call of duty will always be the better game because so many people get angry about it. You never see cod fans going on cod videos and bitching about battlefield or brink etc, because they are happy with their game.

@MiniMicro02 Because I have been watching a number of Brink videos to gather the general opinion. The game initially sparked my interest and I hoped it would be great but to many reviews have pointed out real game breaking issues. Also I'm not a COD fanboy, I hate Black Ops but loved COD 4 and MW2. I've also played Battlefield BC1 and 1942, Team Fortress 2, Crysis 2, Killzone 2 and 3 and Halo Reach. I love multiplayers, but Brink is not up to scratch and it isn't going to catch on.

@MikeyHNCC1701D Well If you haven't played it you cant fairly say anything and most of the reviews don't even point out or look at 90% of the game and focus on the fact it's not COD
It's an Awesome game and is really fun and reviews don't always cut it
You have to play to know the up's and downs not just looking at video's
I agree it has some things that need improvement but is still a really fun game (but it's epic when you and your friends play THAT is fun)

@HunterNormandy Hey im a cod fag too yet i have to say for a player who played games since he was four from crash bandicoot to brink im impressed will i ever give up CoD or halo... not really yet im sure brink is going to be a game i will constantly have to dedicate time into. Its great i like it very impressed it really shocked me on how well it is.. if they make a sequal i'll be first camping out at gamestop

not a campaign i'll remember, but the teamwork thing is epic, 8 maps, but there big (dont be turned off by the 8 map thing, c: the maps are epic) i thought being my betheda (how ever its spelled) and splash damage that the classes and guns would be uneven, there not, of course theres guns you should never use in the game like the draganov but still i say 90% of the guns are good, and the classes seems perfectly equal

ppl should stop to compare this game with cod! every single cod part is like the one before! its more like a mappack with new skins!
this is a totally new kind of fps that should addict players because its fun and they dont die instantly because of a quickscoper, noobtuber or camper. in my oppinion its very great that the mp-campaign is more an "offline multiplayer" because i ever wanted to try out such a game

Agree on the sports games (But then again I've never played one that I enjoyed, and I'm not willing to pay $80 for a new player list) and racing games (Again, never really played one that I enjoyed besides the trivial but fun Mario Kart esque games), but as for platform games, I dunno. I honestly can't imagine playing Braid on a controller, but Castle Crashers was a controller game for sure. I suppose it all boils down to personal preference.

im going somewhere over summer and im wondering if i should get this game for my laptop which has starcraft 2 on it right now..
if i get brink, will it slow anything down? i have alot of memory. and what about steam? do i need that to play this ? would you guys buy this game if your going over seas to keep busy? i'll have wifi so it wouldnt be a problem. I really REALLY appreciate any help, thanks! ^^

Anyone having problems with the shoot button on PS3?... My shoot button is "sticky".. My gun starts firing, pauses for a mili-second after 3-4 bullets come out and then starts firing again....

@derekisazombie Does the game have any bugs or issues that are mentioned in reviews? Such as texture poping and lag issues? Is the AI actually terrible, or does it give you some slack at first then just get harder near the end of the round?

@R3L3NTL3SSxx True, and I mean, if you ask me the core game is good, but on PC you got promodlive. It's a competitive mod that makes the game beautiful, and that's why i play it in the first place. No weapon attachments, certain weapons have been taken out, no perks or killstereaks. Just you, your headset and your skill. Ofcoruse mouse and mouse surface come in too if you want to be a scope for your team (1 scope per team, 5v5 clan v clan games).

@mattjb2able You can't really say that and have a valid argument as it is a matter of opinion and there are a huge number of people that love the Call of Duty series. Conversely neither is Brink or any other game a shitty one providing it's gameplay, mechanics etc are not by definition shit or has serious performance issues.

@aeadonnis Sure I can say CoD is a shitty game, only 3 or 4 guns are viable and they're better than every other gun, it's always been like this in Call of Duty, auto aim is in all console games but CoD has the most auto aim i've ever seen, it takes little to no effort to gun down some one down. If you get caught with your back turned 100% chance you're going to die, unlike games such as Halo where you actually have a fighting chance if getting shot at from behind.

Overall I think Call of Duty ruined FPS games, I miss the time when games like Quake were in their prime and it actually took a modicum of effort to be good at the same, now FPS games now and days are filled with auto aim, kill streaks, and a bunch of children talking shit to each other. Don't get the idea that i'm defending. And of course it's my opinion that CoD is a shit game, do I have to label everything as my opinion? Are you that stupid?
