Gorgeous mare :) Got kinda startled when I saw y'all pulling and tugging on both front legs at the same time, but glad both dam and colt made it through the foaling safe and sound :] Spirit looks like a lovely little foal :D Can't wait to see the next vid of him all grown ^^
hello i wanted to say all ur videos are amazing i have a pregant hor right now shes a pure bred canamera - a horse with great speed and agility great in races pure breds are hard to find- any ways she is about to give birth and while she is in the stable im in here and i ran accrost ur videos ur horse is amazing and a great mother
@Freekles1245.. a basic guess would be that, horses have no hands to pick up their young -- thus the immediate survival of the baby is dependent on it's getting up and walking immediately. Obviously, human mothers have hands to carry and protect their young..
Mama looks so proud as she follows him out to the paddock. She is just prancing and so pleased with herself and her baby. Well done, Camille. That's a fine lad you birthed after so much effort! Thanks for sharing them with us.
Yep! That makes me wonder to but, at the same time I'm glad our babies are so dependent because I loved taking care of my children, and life has went full circle. I have 3 beautiful grand babies. They are our reward for taking good care of our kids!
I find interesting that most of the wild animals are able to walk and handle themselves pretty well hours after birth, while humans are completely dependent on their mother for years. Sometimes i wonder what caused this...
@Freekles1245 humans are born way earlier than they should be because otherwise brain development would cause the head to be too big to make it through the birth canal
They're both so beautiful!! And giving birth to him looked so painful. I wonder what would happen if you were not there to give a helping hand. What would nature's way be to a trapped baby? Poor Camile, she got so tired, but she managed very well.
what evrr hapend to him

@Freekles1245 Because humans have a huge brain that takes years to form. Eats up a lot of resources to grow a brain so body development is slower.

@Freekles1245 Because humans learn a lot more. We have a longer child time which means longer learning time ..
