  • I love my Country!! Viva Mexico and Juventino Rosas!!!

  • It is a wonderful waltz worthy of a symphony orchestra! We know it as a fun tune blasting out of amusement park band organs. It needs more respect!!

  • Finally! I've been looking for this for the longest time! <3

  • I am proud of my great-great uncle, as his son was of him!

  • What a magical rendition!

  • Bello, Bello, haaaaaaa....

  • Love the change to a waltz at 0:43

  • One of the most impressive things about Juventino Rosas, is that he was an Otomie indian for whom Spanish was a second language and had just a few years of formal training, succeed against great discrimination.

Bravo, Juventino Rosas. Con Orgullo de Mexico para el Mundo! Music has no limits! Bravo, Juventino Rosas proudly from Mexico to the World!

  • MEXICO PARA EL MUNDO....

  • My mother is from the same city as rosas, too bad she couldn not saw this video, she always admired rosas

  • who origionaly wrote this song? acording to my great grandma my great great great great grandpa wrote this

  • @DRNEGOLICIS LOL, unless you have any proof, dont rant

  • @DRNEGOLICIS - If your "GGGG Grandpa" was Juventino Rosas, then you'd be correct, if not...sorry =]

  • @DRNEGOLICIS maybe. If your great great great great grandpa was Juventino Rosas, then he surely did write this waltz :)

  • @jradetzky He was my ascendant uncle.

  • @bloodandbones9 really?, whats the name of the town where he born, and where he got the inspiration to write it?

  • @Yoaltecuhtli I have no idea. I haven't looked him up yet. I just started investigating it recently. Its probably somewhere on the net. I will ask my father, tomorrow though.

  • @bloodandbones9 Juventino Rosas was born on January 25, 1868 in Santa Cruz de Galeana, Guanajuato. This wonderful waltz was conceived on the banks of a river and crosses Contreras, México City, premiered at a birthday celebration of president Porfirio Diaz. Juventino diseased spinal myelitis in Cuba, died on july 9, 1894, at a age 26 but he heard his waltz on his bed, which was played by a band on the street, just a day before he die, july 8 of that year in 1939 he moved to the Rotond Illus men

  • At 1:00 you can see the other euphonium fingering along! lol

  • when i in the mood of stress, i'll always listen to this masterpiece... really soften me up...

  • great! where can i get the score? help!

  • Not much different than our Air Force band, just a bit bigger.Change the uniforms and you could not tell the difference. The brass might be a little more mellow than their American counterparts, but that is about it.We have so much in common, don't we..

  • Great job here. I would personally say this is the best version of the piece on YouTube. Thanks for this!

  • Rosas has been called The Closet Viennese. Though this performance is great, it's at it's best played on a big Verbeek Fair Organ

  • It´s a magic song created by the MEXICAN JUVENTINO ROSAS. Composed when he had a trip to Cuba.
