momochi was indeed the best akuma player in sf4 vanilla. even tokido agreed. this is fact :). tokido also said momochi was god of fireball wars. he would play fireball with sagat with no pressure at all till like 10seconds left in the game. its very hard to play like that with akuma. speicaly vs magos sagat

tokido was always better than momochi with akuma, momochi's style of play with akuma was more appealing thats all, so i think those who believes momochi being better back in vanilla are biased. Tokido has proven to be stronger than momochi with akuma by defeating momochi not just once and yes momochi won games off tokido as well but tokido won the most overall as akuma

Momochi Was Clearly Better then tokido back in the old Vanilla days.Tokido didnt get that much exposure to akuma untill Momochi switched characters in vanilla.

In super,tokido gets the most love BECAUSE momochi dropped akuma because he thought he was too weak. Im not comparing momochi and tokido skill overall,momochi Was originally the best akuma before he dropped him in super.end of story

@watsup516 While i do agree that Tokido has been the #1 ranked Akuma since vanilla, Momochi has beaten Daigo much more than one match including 5 sets that Momochi won 3-2. I'd say the reason he was hyped so much was that his playstyle was more appealing to some than Tokido's. To each his own.

@watsup516 You're talking a load of insular shit mate. Momochi is a top 10 player in the world all day long, and that's a conservative ranking. His Akuma in SF4 was top 5 in Japan. Check him out against Mago at God's Garden. I don't actually think I've ever seen him lose to him (who was a half a million BP Sagat in the end) and he beat Daigo and Uryo in head to head sets overall as well. You know he's not even a fully pro player yet ? Go watch some more matches.

@Kavious21 i have to disagree. everyone felt momochi was better because in vanilla days there was way more match footage of momochi than tokido. there was a time when to see a tokido match was very rare and he was still in the top 10 arcade ranking. but ask anyone that knew the 2, they would have them equal with akuma. also when we talk singles, tokido won godsgarden 2. beating momochi in the process. those daigo wins really did it, when in reality daigo won a lot more matches not shown that day

imo tokido was and still is better than momochi with akuma even in sf4. people watched momochi's akuma more back in sf4 and most likely never heard of tokido. there are videos of akuma mirror matches between tokido and momochi and tokido won majority of em. never the less momochi is still a strong player

@srferdc ahahahha versus symetrik ahahahah momochi was the best gouki. Tokido was not regular in SF4... and there are lot videos of tokido and momochi. I have seen all tournament in SF4 with momochi and tokido (youtube).
