Did you know that Joss Whedon wanted to start Dollhouse at a point where Echo was already storing memories (therefore an interesting and complex character) but Fox insisted on the first half of the first season being fairly stand alone adventures, because Fox is stupid and doesn't trust writers to be able to create interesting, complex characters people care about
