@GreenGretel Yes, it is not only Korea but many parts of Asia prefer the milkypale skintone. In the old days in Asia, if you had pale skin that symbolized that you were rich and could stay indoors and not have to be outside working in the sun. BUt in the old days in America, if you had dark skin that said that you were rich becuase you were out in the sun and not working in a factory all day being pale. This is why each area has a certain preference of a skin color.
