  • Hello...can you specify in ml ( or liters) the capacity of the glass and the can? I can find here in Switzerland guinness nitro draught cans which are 44cl big (almost half a liter, and close to an American Pint). I would like to buy a guinness glass that can be filled up to the rim by that can....but the only glasses I find are one imperial pint big (which is about 568 ml...much bigger than the cans I can find here, they would stay half empty...)

  • seems like yer all a bunch of no brain wankers

  • @pelhamhouse Thanks for the comment. :@)

  • @thecowboy09 because American beer is fucking shite

  • After a few of them, I don't care what they look like anyways. lol

  • @thecowboy09 lol its not american beer buddy its irish stout.

  • @Marveh i think he meant "compared to" american beer. He's just "englishly" challenged. Much like you with IQ.

  • @MrSpitfireMustang you don't say? interesting how you managed to know my IQ through a youtube comment.. its 139 by the way :)

  • Canned Guinness should be poured into a large glass in one smooth action not like that you melt

  • @austin103 Agreed It's something we now know, keep in mind this video is 3 years old, many a guinness has been drunk since the making of this video and wiser we have become :@)

  • FAKE! YOU PLANNED HIM STEALING YOUR PINT.

jk. Apparently if you take a tour of the Guinness brewery they show you how to pour the perfect pint. Is this how its done?

  • @Jak3Mac Indeed they do show you how to pour the perfect pint at the Guinness Storehouse, did it myself :@) But yeah it's a two part pour when from the tap but just one straight pour from the can.

  • Guinness FTW

  • @thecowboy09 Because the big "american" companies think beer should taste as close to human piss as possible. Then a lot of stupid people accept that's what beer is and college students not caring about drinking rather then just getting waste. So they buy Natural Ice.

of course with alcohol, you'll always get a bad taste in the end.

  • @thecowboy09 There are different types of beer, the most popular in America are pilsners/lagers. The piss water stuff but America does have some stouts

  • @thecowboy09 its not american...

  • actually supposed to just dump it all down the middle.

  • @ZMONeY1227 very wrong...its supposed to be poured like it was a draft, the same way this guy did.

  • @mikedelpiero9 From a can you -CAN- just pour it "straight."

  • Guinness FTW

  • @thecowboy09 Like many stouts Guinness is made from roasted Barley and that gives it it's dark colour.

  • Guinness FTW

  • @92greenz34 FTW

  • @92greenz34 FTW!!

  • Do you pour the extra stout bottled one the same way?

  • @LIP3XGunner A bottle is one pour I think. A can is meant to be one pour too really.

  • @livingprooffilms

Seems i mus start to buy the canned ones every now and then.

Still, the ones poured from the propper tap, are unbeatable!

  • You have beautiful handwriting.

  • @Nurple007 =] Thanks

  • well known fact......if you want to know how to pour the perfect pint of the genius DO NOT use a can!

  • wow I'm like a 4th generation Irish American and even I know you're doing it wrong.

You bring shame to the beautiful country of Ireland. faggot.

  • @phasicTonic Oh I'm sorry I didn't realise trolls drank Guinness too. I also thank you for you 4th Generation Irish insight.

  • @phasicTonic you're the faggot..faggot

  • @phasicTonic a 4th generation Irish American?..you're less Irish than Muhammad Ali (who is a third generation Irish-American)..mind your fucking business yank!

  • Just made a video. Check it out.

  • @JDMCN Just watched it god job. That's the way we pour it now.

  • If u just turn it upside down u get bubbles the way I pour it ends up perfect IMO

  • @JDMCN Agreed! :@)

  • Ok came back to my answer. The way I have found best is to do it in one pour as I've heard many places. It's actually the same just one pour. Crack the can of Guinness let it make noise for sec. The second it stops tilt the glass the usual 45 degrees. Pour the Guinness so it pours smooth, make sure it's a smooth steady stream, if it isn't don't pour so fast. When u get to the point where u stop and let it settle, just flatten the beer out and pour the rest right into the center. You never s

  • Guinness, best beer ever and i'm not even close to Irish

  • beautiful, well done.

  • dam. just started pouring my own guinness and i knew i was doing it wrong. i wish i would have found this b4 i poured my last can..... can anyone tell me why it's best to pour it like this. ya i know im ignorant, i just started drinking guinness, thanks.

  • @qwerty0900 Since making this video we've found that the best way way to pour a pint of Guinness from a can is to do it in one go straight upside down. Because the widget inside helps make it all nice a creamy.

The way we've shown you with the two part pour is what you're meant to do from a tap.

When I'm drinking a can though I always just do a two part pour because I'm used to doing it like that =]

  • POURED WRONG. can is pour diff then draft

  • @JDMCN Post a video response showing us how to do it. Always looking to be re-educated!

  • Guiness FTW

  • yeah, thats the correct way... tilt half fill

    then finish it after

  • Actually when it's from the can it should be poured in one fluid pour. There's not enough surging nitrogen in the widget to create the proper head when you let it sit because it settles in the can rather than the glass!

  • @VIR0L0GY Agreed. We found this out after we made the video. But any who a Guinness is a Guinness. :@)

  • Dude in the Back, LOL ! Love Guiness.

  • @TheElephant79 Yuuummmm Guinness

  • Greatest vid ever, i love guinness :) All i need to do now is to "borrow" a guinness pint glass

  • @iamtheonlyhobo You need a women with a big hand bag ;)

  • @livingprooffilms A woman eyy, well i live in Newcastle so it shouldn't be hard to get my hands on one of those :)

  • the cream on top should not have any bubbles, it would be better from draught not from can.

  • A perfect pint of Guinness, would definitely not come out of a can!

  • Where is the Shamrock?

  • @fuckofxbox Lol we should have tried to put one one. I had a lovely bar maid put a butterfly on top of my Guinness the other day.

  • you dont need to let it settle with a can ebcause it doesnt contain any nitrogen

  • @bugsbunny159 true but still he gets a nice creamy head on her

  • lol his dad is in the back round like, get a job kid!

  • @mikeymike3232 "Get a job and stop drink my beer boy" :)

  • nver looks the same as the nitrous tap

  • Hahah, what a ninja!

  • That fucking wanker stole your beer mate.

  • guiness FTW

good stuff. I'll try my hand at it later today.

  • i like the guy creepin in the shadows lol

  • THE BEST BEER.

  • i love it. "stolen, of course" XD wow, made my day

  • Awesome vid!

  • That was a perfect pour indeed. Well done.

  • GUINNESS FTW!

  • hahahaha lol epic monet trow the can on his fucking face

  • best beer in the world

  • lol at your father hahah

  • can you teach me how to pour guinness extra stout from a bottle please.

  • @0100110101001011 You can drink Guinness Extra Stout from the bottle. But if you prefer it in a glass then it's as simple as turning the bottle right upside down and pouring it in in one go.

  • @0100110101001011 Bottled Guinness is meant to be drank straight from the bottle, it's brewed specially that way

  • My, what a perfect pour. I need me a can of that NOW.

Good humor at that as well, brother.

  • @jonrivera Thanks :)

  • speak English man!

  • @hydromorph12 Lol I thought I was ...

  • @hydromorph12 Shut up you Maple leaf mountie lovin twat you're not even from the UK, and your telling a proper Brit to speak English? You sir are a muppet!

  • @MrBeezman Haha Lol nice response to @hydromorph12 :)

  • @livingprooffilms lol thanks

  • GUINNESS FTW!

Thanks a lot for the tutorial bud, i've enjoyed many cans here using your method. Cheers!

  • @oVeRmYhEaD0789 It's a pleasure to

spread the joys of Guinness drinking

    around the world. :)

  • From one longhair guy to another...great pour!

  • @bbbkahinharmony Haha Nice one :)

  • Where is the Shamrock which should be drawn in the head of the Guinness ????

  • @ludwig37000 You'd have to be extremely

skilled to do that from a can :P

  • Guinness FTW

  • @boogiexdown =] Wooooooooo

  • Where are you from, comrade?

    I like your accent.

  • @cnavaro88 I'm from the heart of England,

    Birmingham!

I'm glad you like the accent most people

    would consider the Birmingham accent

    as a stupid one!

    Thanks for watching!

  • Okay.. Cool video, and a great beer, in fact it's the one I'm heading out to the beer store to purchase in just 10 minutes.. But one thing. Every Guinness pouring video that involves a can always comes down to a 2stage pour like you did, or dumping it right into the middle of the glass from start to finish, very quickly. The can says the widget eliminates 2stage pouring and it shouldn't be done that way when using the can. Thoughts? Wish we could settle this argument from the other vids!

  • @d0ngs Yeah from a can it is one pour.

After we made the video we realised it was

a pour thing. We do it in the one pour way

now but it doesn't seem to make a difference

if you do it in two

    Thanks commenting!

  • Plus a lot of real pubs in Ontario here have a thing they put on the tap to recreate the creaminess of what a guiness should taste like but still not as fresh as a europe guiness.

Canada has a ton of small micro brewery's and they all have stouts that are unbelievably delicious and you get a nice really FRESH beer.

good video mate I liked when the dude drank your beer hahah

  • @conda420 Thanks, yeah I agree Guinness doesn't travel well, the further you travel away from Ireland the worse it gets Lol. And the worst is often in 'Irish Themed' pubs Lol.

  • Unless you live in Europe you can never get a perfect pint of guiness. For one Guiness does not travel well at all so every single can or bottle from the usa or Canada is not near as good as Ireland. If you have ever had a pint from Europe you would notice right away that their guiness is way thicker compared to our guiness however if you go to a real pub that has huge turn over of kegs you might get a better glass of brew.

  • cool man. makin me want a guinness real bad haha

  • I love how the glass is "stolen"...I'll need to do the same. Thanks for the tip! I bought some bottled Guinness so I'll try it out! :)

  • @slavaandmeg haha yeah, I'm sure if you ask if you can have one they'll let you, if they're nice that is. I think bottled Guinness you're just supposed to drink from the bottle. How did it work pouring it?

  • get out of the background dad I'm making a movie!

  • Hoooorah. Sláinte!!

  • Lol thank you, we have a sensible commenter :)

The Funny thing is about the ginger comment is, I actually have blonde/brown hair Lol

I hope you have an enjoyable Guinness anyway!

  • Dark ruby red??? you must be talkin about your hair you damn ginger.

If you're gonna pour a guinness and you have a guinness glass just pour @ a 45 degree angle to the top gold line above the logo and then let it settle and then put the rest in. I work at a bar, I know these things.

Next time you put up a video don't watch other people's and paraphrase what they say. It's really lame

  • @hyewrestler You know what to do then. Upload a video response showing us yourself how to do it?

  • GUINNESS FTW

  • I love guinness,,,I'm curious what variations people drink in ireland (i.e black/tan, carbomb ect).

    Great video!

  • I work at a bar, I hate pouring guinness as it takes ages to settle. Gonna try it at a angle to see if it helps

  • What i see most people do in bars is pour the 3/4 first then take the money, till, give change, etc, and once you've done that pour the last quarter. According to Guinness it takes 119.53 seconds to pour the perfect pint of Guinness. obv. it's not always possible to do that in a busy bar lol. But you should always do a double pour.

  • Ideally thats the way I go about. If they want a few drinks, guinness first, other drinks then finish the guiness off. I'm working tomorrow night next. Have a saint patricks day function lol, no chance of of it being quite. Just hope we have enough Guinness barrels :)

  • The ol' St Patricks day rush, It's the best time to go out. =D

  • this is the best guiness i've seen poured from a can, great vid! and you know your shit. :D

  • It's all about the perfect pour for the perfect pint!

  • haha quality. not particularly a Guinness drinker but I wouldn't turn it down :)

  • I'm a little perplexed, every time I open a can of Guinness the damn thing bursts out.

    It didn't happen for you.

    Good video, learned a lot!

  • I usually let the can stand for a minute or two before I open it, or do the old trick of tapping the bottom of the can to stop it fizzing.

  • why wait then pour in the middle?

  • "What are ya doin?" lol.

  • a real mans drink

  • Oh Yesssss.

  • holy shit, you look like an irish Layne Stayley, thats bad ass, 5/5, my heritage is irish/german, lol

  • Cant wait till march 17th =D

Turn 18 that day and this will be the first thing i'll buy at the pub!

    Guinness FTMFW!

  • That will be the greatest day of your life! Lets hope the first Guinness is the nicest one!

  • Bout to pour a glass now! Guinness FTW!

  • Hope you Enjoyed it. Its always worth the wait.

  • So thirsty now! Guinness FTW!

  • A lovely Ice Cold Guinness would quench any thirst!

  • Last Christmas my Dad scolded me for drinking it right out of the can. Now I get it. Thanks for the info. 5/5

  • My brother often has ago at me if i'm not tipping the glass right or poor its wrong or whatever.

    Cheers btw!

  • guinness FTW

  • Nice One Thank you!

  • Guinness is my favourite

  • Mmmmmm

  • Guinness For the win!

    Nice vid

  • Oh Yes!!!!!!!!

  • first thing you need is a Guinness tap

    good effort tho

  • I wish I had one! Maybe Santa Clause will bring me one next year.

  • I wish i was the guy who took your pint. :)

  • lol. You can't have it it's mine :oP

  • How nice does that pint look!

  • Only the best.

  • Guinness FTW Yayyyyyyyyyy

  • FTW

  • Now I have a doubt, I was living in Ireland and in some occasions they put directly all the content of the can into the glass in one step. but some times also in 2 steps likes you. Is the correct one 1 or 2 steps?

  • Technically from the can its meant to be one pour and on tap its a two pour. Either way its seems to pour the perfect pint!

Remember to submit your video response with your doing your very own perfect pour!

  • Thanks a lot for your response :-D

  • my guy knows!

  • Guinness FTW =]

  • It is indeed =D

  • Guinness ftw =D

  • hahaha, "what are ya doin?!"

  • 1:11!!!!! ITS PEDOBEAR!

  • Haha it's the Guinness stealing pedobear!!!

  • you cant drink it from the can?..... if im gana try this beer im gana try it the right way and with the right flaver.

  • Yep defiantly the right way is best =D

  • Guinness = good.

Beamish = The best!!! and its real Irish stout beer imported from Ireland.

  • @DrPepper1885Phd Agreed

  • I've never heard of that before, I'll have to see if I can get some, from the looks of it I might have to look in a more special shop rather than a supermarket.

  • I love Beamish and Guinness. To be fair, Guinness this side of the Atlantic ain't up to par with real Irish Guinness. This is because most stouts and ports don't travel well, so the Guinness in the US is actually brewed in Canada. Beamish, however, is brewed in Ireland and then brought over to Connecticut, where it is distributed throughout the US. You can find them in specialty liquor stores, or Whole Foods if you live near one.

  • I bought some Guinness Draught today at Target. It is actually brewed in Dublin. I've had the stuff from Canada from somewhere like Wal-Mart before though. Check out Target if you're looking for the stuff brewed in Ireland.

  • Nice one great tip!

Now the question is was it a GREAT pint of Guinness?!?

  • I'll have to say, it was a spectacular pint of Guinness :-)

  • You know what, my friend? I work at Target. I'll pick some up tomorrow when after work. Thank you very much.

  • I hope you went and had one for yourself then :P

  • I love GUINNESS! Cool instructions and I loved the guy stealing your pint!

  • Thanks, it's the best drink in the world =D

  • Well thanks for the feedback. Glad you liked it!

  • Haha that's great. 5 stars..

  • Guinness... the drink of the gods. =D

  • Oh so very true.

  • it WORKED! I TRIED IT! Yummy

  • Damn, there are only 440 mL cans here in Canada, I can't find a 530 mL like the one thats used on this video. Guinness tastes good out of the can but heck I want it in a glass, plus it must feel preety rewarding to pour it properly out of a can. Oh well.

  • Hell yea! Thanks for showing us! Excuse me now while I go and get me some GUINNESS!

  • Mmmmmmm Guinness

This is perfect in my eyes.
