@pnar13 What do mean by "in order"? If you mean do any of the numbered games have anything to do with the story of another game of a different number then, no.

e.g. Final Fantasy XIII's story doesn't have anything to do with nor is it connected in any way with Final Fantasy XII's story. Though some of the Final Fantasy games do have spin offs/sequels. Like, Final Fantasy X and X-2 and the Final Fantasy VII compilation. Also Final Fantasy XIII has some sequels...

@asdasd9595 Well... it could stay the same. It's the creators choices... The problem with Final Fantasy XIII's battle system I think is the fact that nearly every battle is... like a boss fight, or something... and almost every fight your goal is to get the stagger up... always the same thing. Not much versatility. I don't know... I just think they should scrap this whole idea of their new battle system and either change it or go back to what worked.

This game is good! love the story so far and well this is my first ff i ever play but when I get killed constantly by the same group of enemies and cant advance It just frustrates me! Maybe in not good at this sort of games since its my first final fantasy .

Sure it has great graphics, but i'm not really sure if I like the looks of the actual fighting sequences, it looks like they spent so much time on making it look cool and flashy that they blew off what was really important, game play itself.

I prefer Resonance of fate because the fights take a lot of planning and I like the difficulty. However from watching this video, the only new thing I see in the fighting system is the smoothness for the fights and everything else is the same.

But the problem is I need to learn words that you need to play a video game. Tapes on how to learn Japanese just teach you how to say hello or to order food rather then have a conversation. @samuraiman26 I have been self teaching myself from books, anime, anywhere for a couple years or so now. Work has meant I've cut back a lot so in some ways it sounds like you'd know more than me. Game words wise you can learn by finding people who do menu translations for games like these then you'll just start to recognise them.

the game looks fantastic, the battle music is nice i like that it's not like the old ones were every step you take is a battle and they've kept the way you can see monsters on the field from 12 but what i like most, is the video and the game play are both brilliant graphics unlike the old, where the videos are amazing, then the game play is pixaly .. if that makes sense

the black guy is called sphzez, and yeah he's awsome. also, this game is going to be a masterpiece. the graphics are by far the best I have ever seen in a videogame, and the combat system looks fantastic. the game is going to be an epic win.

Final Fantasy is taking the 'I look like a game but I'm really an incredibly long movie' approach ever since 7. Admittedly VII, VIII, IX, and X were awesome, but I just can't stand the approach. I miss the dungeon crawling and the much longer stories of the older games (I - VI)
