@salsatangoswing Halak's trade was a good one! He played awesome for half a season, thats it. He is small, and not that good up high. Next year he won't be as good as he is now...... looking at 91% save percentage and like 2.5+ GAA. Eller is a 1st round pick, you can't look away from that. Quit jumping on the bandwagon and start evaluating players based on talent and technique and not a hot streak.

While I probably will never watch another LA Kings game if they trade him, they probably have to. The guy is as good as gone next season.

You don't like to trade within the conference but I think he'd flourish on Detroit or Colorado personally. Vancouver could be a possibility, too. In the east, teams like Pittsburgh, the Rangers, or Boston are all realistic trading partners. Montreal has assets, but if they aren't in playoff contention come the deadline, what's the point?
