if you want to do pixel art it's fun tool but for music this cute things don't convince me, i prefer a real mpc or my old MC-303 from Roland, and also Reason Records or Live.
Maybe one day we could play holographics synth based on 3d projection, but 900 bucks for a AWM old yamaha sound generator and a couple of LED it's to expensive, i prefer buy a Moog Little phatty with real analog fat and juicy sound.
or if you are Rich enough buy a Jazz mutan lemur, it's globaly the same thing but with LCD
