:) Thanks, but actually I don't really know it anymore, it's been so long. I think that if you read the tabs and the comments that are written on them + watch a performance or two from Vai of this song (his DVD of the Alien love secrets album is a good one for this song) you'll have no problem in getting it I think. Uh, no I don't unfortunately, it's been such a long time. But I used a tape delay mode (don't know if it's called exactly that) and was careful not to have too much of it in order to avoid drowning the sound. Hope you do okay with learning the song, it's a great piece of music!

Thank you for your comment- Yes the mesa is great, but infortunately The power stage needs to be driven in order to get a nice smooth sound, therefore I usually plug just the preamp into the Tech 21 in order to get a nice smooth sound

Hey- I don't put any distortion pedals in front of the Mesa, it gives a nice distortion on it's own and is great for certain things like soloing and general rythm, but not so hot for others (like a heavy, scooped, metal sound). I find that the Mesa on it's own provides enough gain for anything I would need

do you loose any tone of the studio preamp when you plug it into the input of the amp rather than using with the power amp? does it get thin? the reason I'm asking is I'm thinking to do the same thing, power amp combination is simply too loud for home use..

Hey thanks for the comment! You shouldn't think of loosing tone when plugging in, you should think of it as a distortion pedal, that makes your amp sound more organic. The tone from the studio is ineveitably changed considerably when plugged into the input of the Tech, but on the other hand it reinforces the Tech's overall sound

Are those the stock pickups? because i have an RG1570 aswell :).. but i upgraded my pickups to a set of Seymour sh2-n and sh4 and a ss1 virtual vintage... i'd highly recommend the upgrade, but yours sounds fantastic anyway!!

Kul efekt je. Ma dobre delaye in tako, nism pa tk zadovoljen z distortioni in modeli ojacevalcev sem prevec navajen na vox Ad al pa Tech, zgleda:))

Thank you for watching and the positive feedback. Yes, it's true that i have a Mesa booige poweramp-in this case a 50/50 stereo- but it's just too loud for me to be able to break it up in the house. So I used the Mesa preamp as a distortion box and ran it through the Tech 2 TM60 clean channel.
