I'm loving this film but I'm slightly bothered by Wallis' accent. Miss Simpson was from Maryland so her accent is all wrong. Apart from this the film is beautiful!
Wallis is hott in this version. But damn I hate Prince whatchamacallit's accent and way of speaking. I want to smack the man. And I am totally with Wallis; my sympathy is with the fox. Damn British and there sick traditions.
@LyricalXilence Maybe reflect on that comment for a while as it is somewhat rascist. Remeber this film is based on an event but the dialogue is fiction, created with the aim of encouraging an emotional response such as yours.
@emleep6 She had a lot of plastic surgery as she got older, and really did look kind of funny and fake as an old woman. Look up an old picture of her; her poor face looks like it was carved out of Play Dough.

@TokyoSpike I actually find Jane Seymour's accent even more annoying. Wallis was from Maryland. They don't have southern accents in Baltimore!

These movies never seem to get it right. The Joely Richardson one has Wallis as the accidental mistress. In this one she's a groupie.
