I m so glad to clear this up for everyone to see what it should be done.. I can understand and respect their own Deaf communities of Deaf culture to speak for their country which it s normal thing for them who live in their country.. I dont see any problem and upset about it.. That s why I said we must fight for our ASL for Deaf Americans so it s theirs too. I support their Deaf communities of Deaf cultures.
I see what you are saying now. So what s the issue after all we all know there are many Deaf languages in our Deaf communities of Deaf culture? I respect their own native sign language as it s very unbelievable for me to see in my own eyes about ASL itself that has in their native languages to be part of it. Don't you see it yet?? I found a real answer by the bottom of my soul that tells me something. ASL is very unique native language as well as their Deaf foreign languages are , too. :)
@DeafSweetMind yupp :D Every country has their own sign :D He is not saying that BSL, or LSQ, or LSF, or whatever sign language is more important, but he talking to people that live in his country that know ASL, and even people that don't because he has subtitles, sayign allow your Deaf child to sign, and have clear accessible language. ASL has it's own grammar and everything. It is a true language and I love it!! :D
Nah, You are not being accused by me however ISL is the one of Deaf languages of Deaf culture. Whats more we are in America so what s your point for not having ASL in our Deaf education?? White men did taking their language away from Native American. NO mistakes for me to say it part. Thanks.. :)
@silentone15 We Deaf American people are fighting for our ASL to bring it back into our ASL education that is the whole reason for us to push harder until it changes for the better..
@DeafSweetMind there is not "International sign language". Every country has their own. There is BSL, LSQ, LSE, PSE, SEE, KSL, JSL, LSN, LSM, CSL, Auslan, MSL, LSF and many many more.... That is just afew that i know the brevations for off the top of my head. However Canada happens to use LSQ, and ASL. Some places in Africa also use ASL, but mostly every country has their own sign language.
@DeafSweetMind howevever i think he is talking abbout ASL because thats what he signs, and the US, and Canada uses, but he juist wants Deaf people to sign in general, and not be left out of clear language, weather its BSL, LSF, LSQ ect...
I really like the information in this video, but what i like even more is that he actually cited his sources! It shows not only an opinion, but actual researched facts which makes it so much easier to promote as the truth! Thanks!
Focus on ASL is too much , unfair to others... Ignore ISL ? International sign language? To gain one world cooperation, we must consider others ,not Let ASL get too much power.
@silentone15 Too Much? This is one of our true Deaf languages and cultures in our Deaf lives. Is that a problem for you to deal without AGBELL s power and control to take over our Deaf languages for their spoken language s sakes only. No THANKS! It s time to change to get back our BI BI Language for our Deaf American babies/children. We have the right to have ASL for our Deaf children s education to gain the intellectual skills and social skills thats the most important part in our lives.
@DeafSweetMind Accuse me of AGBELL fan. you did not read real good. I talked about ISL and we can not force other countries to use ASL. International group is more powerful than one group, fight for rights.
We do not want to be labeled as monopolist over sign language. Be humble, Respect other Sign language
and develope better "ISL" And more AGBELL has rights to be in business. You know that you can not force feed other, just sweet talk other to accept .
This is a wonderful message and hope that it send across around the world so that they can be aware that yes we do exist. I do hope that even for hearing people should learn as least the basic ASL.
Excellent job, Jackerson! I like how you produced this video and job well done! Accessible to everyone, and you used research sources. I like your style. Look forward to seeing your videos.
In this century, Deaf babies need Cochlear Implant and ASL. They will have the best of both worlds. All 4 of us are Deaf, ASL, and Cochlear Implant family.
Wow I love that because NO ONE in my hearing nonsigning family would listen to me even with my completecy in BA and MA degree studies in Deaf Studies. I tried to demonstrate that necessary in Deafestival, 1990. No body in my family would apologize and change. NOTHING. This one at least outside of my family circle to say that for me to my family as well as every every hearing nonsigning families of deaf babies and children. Must find a way to reach TV news to have them comment that need.
Good job, I am curious to know what you are doing right now. I am going to finish my school for BA. I will apply for MA for ASL or Lingusitic, wait and see!
thank you so much. It is my hope that parents recieve the necessary guidance and resources to encourage sign language aquisition in dependent of legal mandates, but if not I feel laws need to be in place to protect a child from neglect and to insure language aquisition is immediate, as is a child's natural right.
thank you for your feedbacks that I m trying to figure it out why are they upsetting about? BINGO! Thank you so much.. :)

A person who embraces ASL as their primary language will be considered a
member of the Deaf community. I find many deaf friends on a Deaf dating
site ----Deafornot dot c om---- Good luck to them!!!
