I'm looking at catching this flight from GC to KL in July then another flight to BKK.

For me, the most important things in flight is the services of cabin crew and staffs.

If an airline is the best in entertainment, foods, but sucks in cabin crew, what is the point?

Airlines that won Airline Of The Year like Cathay Pacific and Singapore Airlines, also many customers complain about their services.

The most important thing is cabin crew serve passengers with their best, try their best to do whatever they can do if they can't provide a service requested by the passengers.

i think they are flying to London Stansted from KL using Air Asia X's A330 soon.

I didn't know they had started operating in Australia yet, i was at coolangatta (gold coast) airport today and i didnt see any check in or planes with AirAsia

yea AirAsia flies to gold coast. my last flight was with AirAsia but to be honest, it was quit a horror (as u can read my previous posting above).

some more i had to bring my own cross word puzzles and mags as entertainment to kill off freakin 7 hrs of flying (not including the delay they had). too bad cant bring my own food.

but i learn my lesson... next time am just gonna take MAS. Lucky now they also fly there at a very good price (RM140+ 1way)! at least got food and movies!

Does the Airasia X economy seats are like the normal Airasia domestic flight seats or it has a larger space. I'm not talking about the premium seats though

nope. they didnt explain any cause of it. just that the plane will delay and if i am not mistaken, we had to wait for about 30 - 45 mins. :(

my first experience with air asia to gold coast was just last yr... to be honest, i wasn't please with it at all! flight was delayed. there was NO air conditioning in the plane. no explanation of what was going on. it was my dad's first flight and god i wish i boarded us on MAS or something. to top up the bad experience, the food sucked and my nasi lemak was much lesser than the dude next to me! come on... shouldn't there be some quality control?

For long haul,i'd rather choose MH or other airline..sometimes..MH much expensive..so i would choose to fly EK business class..MH economy class price can get a Business Class with Emirates!!

Yes it is, Malaysia Airlines placed in the first place for best cabin staff but not others like cabin, entertainment, meal or lounge award. AirAsia place at the first for best Asia low-cost carrier. However, AirAsia rival, Tiger Airways was terrible and they should slump into toilet.

yeah, maybe i judge MH like that because of other things like cabin and entertainment. Since I've flown with qatar i think they are much better. there's no doubt about airasia being the best asia lcc. i've flown in both their b737 and a320 and they're superb for a lcc.
