Beginning of show.. yea, you see the two lines on the far left? That's probably more people than there are in my entire marching band. I can't BELIEVE this! THERE ARE SO MANY!!! AND THEY'RE SO GOOD! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!! This year my school, Air Academy is coming to this competition. We are a 4A school, but we do our best. I now classify you as a 7-9A school. WOW! You can do so much different stuff! ALL AT ONCE! O.o

@TheRascal24 I'm not sure what you're asking. We only played one piece, 'Carmen'. It's split up into three sections called movements. I think I answered your question. Haha!

how many people are in this band? and what is a full band rehearsal like?

@xxKITTYKILLLUHxx That year there were close to 610. This year there are around 670. Our full band rehearsals are very slow, haha. Sometimes they can get even more bogged down because of a few people that just don't care. That's the most annoying part about everyone that wants to march being able to. But, generally speaking our rehearsals aren't that much different from any other band. Also, student leadership is key to being able to control all those people. :D Hope that answered your questions

@XxSpiffxX Umm ITs not that Hard but at the same time its not tht easy either.. My fav one is the first one that goes really fast.. The starting note is an'' A'' natual thats the one im talking about. the other two i havent practiced yet still :p

It's real fun being In a huge band but more ppl means more runthroughs and do overs so there are benefits and disadvantages :)

Omg. I'm going to be a senior and I'm am a trumpet player in The Allen Marching Band. I was in that UIL show last year and we all were terrible that year. I hope were not the same this year. and to all of you that have the drill charts to that show. I was T26. I was in the taco. I hated that shower.

the only reason why this band is soo big is cause they have only like 2 highschools in allan texas. and city of allan isnt small

@NicosucksClan And because their band director, now fine arts director, is an amazing recruiter who draws kids into band and gets them to stay with band. He is heralded as one of the greats in this field and when he speaks about recruitment and retention it's normally standing room only.

If this band was a BOA finalist, they would never fit in their assigned 10 yard space for the award ceremony unless they give each other congratulatory piggy back rides.

This band is bound to have a large talent pool. If the director made two marching bands, one higher tier (180~ members) and one lower tier (the rest), I'm willing to bet the higher one might win BOA Grand Nationals.

Last time I checked I believe we have somewhere around 650 members. And the high school has about 4,800 students.
