@stryper2000 Yes there is. Where do you think the OS is running from? It's got a 16GB SSD. Along with 2GB of DDr3 RAM and a 2x1.66Ghz Atom CPU. Now with only a browser, this thing is hella fast.

Apple is the only one that produces their own laptops and their own OS... 2 a certain quality. MS only releases the OS. So the 'poor' quality from some brands have little 2 do with windows. If you'd buy a Lenovo laptop you'll always have best quality... buy an Acer and it can be shitty.

What did your sign up page look like? The first time I checked out the pilot program sign up page it was a simple form that asked basic things like my name and address. But when I checked back later after the entire Chome OS site went live they had a much more detailed set of questions asking me what services I use and why I think I should receive one.

So I'm wondering if they had 2 separate pages, the simple one being for the first run (which you got) and then the detailed one for the rest?
