It depends what you prefer. But the wordplay lupe uses, is far above anything i have ever heard from Em, its not close. Im a fan of both.

Secondly Eminem is a very good storyteller but Lupe Fiasco is still better he does triple enterdre on a regular basis and one time a quadruple enterdre. I go back and forth on who I think is the better overall mc and it just depends on what you look for in the perfect mc cuz neither of them really has any flaws.

@0a170 i agree that Lupe is more abstract, creativity has to be equal bcuz although Lupe is more metaphorical, Em's early stages was the horrific psychopathic rap punchlines mixed in with the word play, he basically invented that style and brought it up and both are extremely artisically gifted. I go back and forth on who I think is the better overall mc and it just depends on what you look for in the perfect mc cuz neither of them really has any flaws.

Relapse was all these stupid accents, it was terrible, Recovery has some unbelievable songs like Going Through Changes, You're Never Over, etc. He went back to the pissed off sound too in Cold Wind Blows, On Fire, etc
