  • Halloween came out in 78 and John Carpenter spoke about the making of the theme song for the movie.

  • My reply @ Iska788

  • I don't like that fact that they use Halloween theme music, because I'm very fond of that movie.

  • the killer is just like michael myers

  • This was Tom Hanks first ever movie.

  • this film is scarier than half of the crap they offer up today, and they did it with a 50th of the budget of today's films. Something is seriously wrong here...

  • The movie theater bride and the flashback bride weren't TECHNICALLY alone, but I guess 'He Knows You're Surrounded by Dozens of Witnesses' didn't sound all that scary.

  • Phil is a backward southern republican male. He doesn't want his woman to have a career?

  • Don't mess with the bull young lady, you'll get the horns!

  • huh huh, i seen her nipples on her boobies....that was cool

  • don't drink to much beer you know what it does to you BedWetter!

  • When they're dancing that's the dance school my sister and I go to now :)

  • the music at the 1:30ish mark sounds like a sped up version of Halloween's theme

  • I like movies where you have to guess who the killer is, this one spoils it at the beginning. :-(

  • @tine214 I think I see Paul Gleason(Richard Vernon from The Breakfast Club)

  • wow this serial killer sure is something unique...he can ride on charted greyhounds with boyscouts lol

  • SPOILER...

That husband to be Phil is a HUGE A-HOLE! He wants Amy to quit school and he plans to cheat on her (yeah there not married yet but come on...) at the bachelor cabin. Then he has the nerve to be pissed at the end and kill her.

    I'm a man and I'm disgusted. ;-)

  • @screenhorrahfan I'm disgusted too

  • ok first of all a bride wouldn't be alone on her wedding day ....

  • how times have changed their making a deal about having a porno 'ooooo'

  • When he jams his fist into her mouth, why doesn't she just turn her head and scream like crazy? She had more than enough time to put up a fight. Am I over analyzing the scene, yup! LOL

  • Steve James!

  • The girl getting Married was she not that girl Marcie in Friday the 13th who got the ax to the face?

  • whooa the music was soooo ripped off from haloween, john carpenter should sue lol!!!!!!

  • @lonewolfshogun lol, i agree, a total rip off! They tried to reverse the melody but nope, didnt fool me...

  • The detective's name is Frank -- the guy who played the principal in "The Breakfast Club"

  • the late Paul Gleason, Mr. Oliver

  • Thanks -- I couldn't think of the actor's name only the role that he played in "The Breakfast Club"

  • I didn't know Paul Gleason died. That surprises me

  • hey that black guy was in american ninja

  • If you think Tom Hanks acting debut is amazing, check out Johnny Depp in Nightmare on Elm Street, Jamie Lee Curtis in Halloween and kevin Bacon in Friday the 13th.

  • Anytime your girlfriend is pressuring you to marry her just bring up this movie, guys. works nearly every time. LOL!

  • NOT FUNNY AT ALL!

  • Figures!!!!

  • That Datsun was a real chick magnet!

  • ok did that cop car scene remind anyone else of the naked gun?

  • I almost expected frank drebin to be the one investigating the movie theater murder haha

  • Scary flick....good acting, atmosphere, music. As i get older I dig scary movies that rely on suspense and atmosphere as opposed to these extremely violent, gore for the sake of gore type films. Yeah i grew up on dawn of the dead, friday the 13th and all of that but at least many of those films had some style..... you know, this film is not graphic but much more chilling than most of these new flicks ! thanx MIDATLANTICGAL....you took me back to the days of 42nd st. double features in NYC !

  • was tom hanks the killer?

  • Sadly, no!

  • who was he

  • I saw his a nice distraction. His 1st film...

  • i can't believe tom hanks only earned $800 for this movie!

  • It was $800 that served him well!

  • Yep..most of today's modern horror movies aren't scary. This one isn't a complete scarefest, but relies on atmosphere to creep you out. Thanks for commeting and enjoy the movie!

  • Mid atlantic girl you rock i Remember being scared to death seeing this movie and i always knew tom hanks was going to go far!!! thanks this brings back great memories when movies REALLY scared you!!!!!
