@killahju sorry...but America is not a name of a continent....its North America and South America....America on its own means U.S...thats just the way it is...only south americans whines about it...
@devolutionone U'll never see that in gastronomic restaurants in France.....this totally sucks....it s not cooking I can do it myself.....beef and cheese -----> LOL
Base on the judges comments.. I think chef flay should've won this..but chef Macmillan is a very good chef as well. i would love to eat on their restaurants. :)
I knew MacMillan would win based on his presentation. His plating was beautiful artwork. LOL@ Alton and Kevin making off with some beef and wine! Good show.
Mac Millan took more risk in using Kobe in his dish, than Flay. He cooked it and presented it in a variety of way other than just simply grilling it. But outside of this competition...I rather eat a big, thick slice of sightly salted and peppered Kobe beef with a simple roast veggies and creamy, yummy mashed potatoes. Man that was a mouth watering episode.
@samuelluu There is a period between the first and second tasting where the second chef gets to refire their dish. Plenty of time to cleanse the palette.
@samuelluu Arguably, the chef who serves second has the advantage because the judges can often remember his or her dishes more readily than those of the first chef. In Ryori no Tetsujin (the original Iron Chef), this nuance often worked to the advantage of the Iron Chef, who always served second. Of course, familiarity with both the available assistants (usually no sous chefs available) and Kitchen Stadium itself also provided home field advantage, but not quite as much as serving second.
I know. I use to think that when he said that he never ate the food, that he was kidding but he mentions it so much during all of the seasos of Iron Chef, that now I actually thinks it's true. Sad. :P
Um is the guy with the glasses, oh idk, gay?

there is a butcher near me that sells american kobe beef for $30 a pound minimum, that stuff is expensive.

@JoeMuthaFckenKEo I think that's why he wasn't chosen, probably because he would have dominated.
