  • Um is the guy with the glasses, oh idk, gay?

  • @StudZero1 With a degree in psychology from Purdue University (Boiler Up!) and an M.A. in journalism from New York University, Ted Allen was the food and wine connoisseur on Queer Eye for the Straight Guy, hosted Food Detectives, and is now the host of Chopped. Yes, he is openly gay.

  • Mc millan's dishes were more innovative.

  • only taste should be ratet

  • that Alton.............what a funny guy!!

  • BOOM !!!

  • @killahju sorry...but America is not a name of a continent....its North America and South America....America on its own means U.S...thats just the way it is...only south americans whines about it...

  • Comment removed

  • I would have taken off with the secret ingredient too, boy is kobe beef expensive!

  • the host knows whats up thug life xD

  • some one put brown out of his misery uh uh uh uh uh hu aha ah ah aha ah die bitch lol

  • Flay made a plate whit toast and Kobe beef... Just for that I think he deserved to lose but his beef and blue cheese looks Yummi! :p

  • @devolutionone U'll never see that in gastronomic restaurants in France.....this totally sucks....it s not cooking I can do it myself.....beef and cheese -----> LOL

  • flays overrated anyways...

  • @retrotw if he was he wouldn't be owning 12 restaurants.

  • @JoeMuthaFckenKEo it would be up to the judges as to who won. Japanese judges would help.

  • Base on the judges comments.. I think chef flay should've won this..but chef Macmillan is a very good chef as well. i would love to eat on their restaurants. :)

  • wow. flay never loses. guess now i stand corrected

  • @port753 Didnt u see his score at the start? its 7/3

  • @JoeMuthaFckenKEo Morimoto?

  • my money was on flay

  • there is a butcher near me that sells american kobe beef for $30 a pound minimum, that stuff is expensive.

  • @JoeMuthaFckenKEo I think that's why he wasn't chosen, probably because he would have dominated.

  • I knew MacMillan would win based on his presentation. His plating was beautiful artwork. LOL@ Alton and Kevin making off with some beef and wine! Good show.

  • wow! To be honest I didn't expect chef Macmillan to win.

  • these ppl. are all idiots

in any "battle" there are victims

in this case it's the american "kobe"-style beef

(and alas not in a good way)

  • Theres 4 dishes per course!? Damn that's a lot of kobe

  • JESUS

U have 2 have MAXIMUM RESPECT for the iron chefs that go on this show

Their image and reputation is on the line

i would not have the balls 2 do it

  • id rather eat flay's dishes

  • @pedro702lv id rather eat both.

  • He'd probably think that the meat is a disgrace to real Kobe beef.

  • Lol run away with a 70$ steak

  • Mario Batali would've wrecked Mr. Mac Millan's kitchen anyday. Anytime.

  • lol

  • AB and Kevin totally deserve the beef!

  • yo alton brown is the man

  • Mac Millan took more risk in using Kobe in his dish, than Flay. He cooked it and presented it in a variety of way other than just simply grilling it. But outside of this competition...I rather eat a big, thick slice of sightly salted and peppered Kobe beef with a simple roast veggies and creamy, yummy mashed potatoes. Man that was a mouth watering episode.

  • whoever get taste fist win lol...the second chef have disadvantage because the judge is full of the fist chef flavor

  • @samuelluu There is a period between the first and second tasting where the second chef gets to refire their dish. Plenty of time to cleanse the palette.

  • @samuelluu Arguably, the chef who serves second has the advantage because the judges can often remember his or her dishes more readily than those of the first chef. In Ryori no Tetsujin (the original Iron Chef), this nuance often worked to the advantage of the Iron Chef, who always served second. Of course, familiarity with both the available assistants (usually no sous chefs available) and Kitchen Stadium itself also provided home field advantage, but not quite as much as serving second.

  • Lol, love Alton

  • Alton and Kev are kleptos lol

  • He made off with the secret ingredient after the Parmigiano battle too.

  • Alton doesn't get to eat during the course of the (filming) of the show. I can't blame him :-)

  • I know. I use to think that when he said that he never ate the food, that he was kidding but he mentions it so much during all of the seasos of Iron Chef, that now I actually thinks it's true. Sad. :P

  • @pisces38 LOL! kleptos is right.

  • @pisces38 I'd be slightly klepto if it was kobe beef. Lol!
