If you were aware in the 60's...you most likely did not like the 70's at the time...loss of optimisum, slower less exciting cars, the fuel shortage, (fuel trippled is a few weeks) and Disco music kinda put a damper on the fun. But looking back now...it was great and better then today is so many ways.

I was born in 58. My father was a classic rocker and was in a rock band when I was born. I grew up listening to rock from the 60's and ended up playing in punk bands in the 80's. It is all good but I do love the upbeat, positive feeling of the hopeful 60's. I love punk but then its dark side gets a bit tedious after a while. My current fave band from the 80's is Theatre of Hate.
