  • @edik56 Sick! I live in Vancouver, is that around the 205 interchange?

  • i just squirted

  • That's not exactly drifting. They lost traction with the wet road during the turn and decided to keep the accelerator on. Happens a lot with FR's in slick conditions.

  • @dsubversion Drifting is a Technique that is called a "Controlled/Uncontrolled" slide. Just sliding isn't drifting and this guy is Drifting. He is controlling a slide using his cars rear wheels at a specific speed to not lose control but also not to gain control and front brakes just enough that he didn't really lose any speed and kept the pace. This is indeed a drift. Wet pavement or not, doesn't matter. Its a drift.

  • @jagray85 just because they are controlling sliding does mean it’s drifting. I would have called this a lift-off drift if they initiated a drift before the turn-in but that didn’t happen. What happened was the driver lost traction as soon as they started following the turn, corrected for steering, kept the accelerator on and maintained the angle to not spin out. You can see that they “tail whiped” at the end of the turn so they really don’t have weight transfer and acceleration control down.

  • @dsubversion then why did he keep the control and the weight transfer for 7 seconds because it sure is not snappy over steer like u say
