I think this is...the coolest video I have ever seen. :) I just saw Meredith Monk and company perform last night at the Walker Art Center in Mnpls--wow. Amazingly choreographed and yet SO so open. She really demonstrates how to recieve sound, let it pass through the body....

I am so thankful for her work!!!!!

Oh my yes! My husband saw the Book of Days as a teenager among an artisic community, and he and his friends adopted the section from 3:40 of what you posted as their official theme song. He's often shown me the old VHS tape of it, which he and his friends called "Spot the Surrealist", so finding this at long last, and being able to show it to him, and he in turn to his friends is unparalleled! Thank you again!!
