I think it's bizarre given we saw the rocket launch and astronauts regularly space walk that people would suggest that the moon landings were faked. Moon landing hoax theory's include:

1/ You can't travel to the moon because space is a vacuum and you would have nothing to thrust against.

2/ The hidden Mickeys theory: Moon rocks were made by Disney and resemble Disney characters.

The floors yours guys,try to convince me otherwise!

@un4g1v3n1 Ive just seen the video about the rock given to the dutch prime minister by Armstrong that was proven to be a petrified piece of wood. This is the hardest evidence I've seen yet for a hoax.

@Intraverseneptune Theory 1: You don't need anything to thrust against - thats complete bollocks - its one of Newtons laws that says if you push something at a high speed backwards, the object doing the pushing will go the other way - Harrier jump jets take off in the same way, seen as they don't push off the floor once they are airbourne - they use the opposite force from the jets thrusting the air out to move. Theory 2: Anyone with a brain can see it's crap.

Galactic Cosmic Rays, from wikipedia: The radiation environment of deep space is very different from that on the Earth's surface or in low earth orbit, due to the much larger flux of high-energy galactic cosmic rays (GCRs), along with radiation from solar proton events (SPEs) and the radiation belts. If you attempt to pass through the Van Allen belts without electromagnetic or equivalent shielding, you are dead. Once you get past the VAB, the radiation only increases. No moon landing.

The astronauts of the moonlandings got a radiation increase of 1 rem during their flights. 700-1000 could be lethal, because they only spent 8 hours or less exposed to the Van Allen Belt. (2500 rems per YEAR)

The Van Allen Belt does not hinder manned moonlandings, even Dr. Van Allen has said this.

After all, 26 astronauts got to the moon 1968-1971. Twelve astronauts walked on the Moon, some of them for several days. Their dosimeters showed no "dangerous" radiation.

there is no know shield to space radiation! nada, none the idea that man travelled through space to the moon without shielding is a joke. the radiation particles actually travel through anyting like a space capsule. it simple cannot be done a nuclear physicist can tell you truthfully that it is impossible to survive that amunt of radiation. example the walls of a common nuclear power plant are 10 feet thick concrete the result? radiation still leaks out! space travel? impossible!

By the way, did you hear that back in July, the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter found five Apollo sites, right where they were supposed to be? The photos even showed the foot paths of the astronauts. Maybe that's why nobody has posted anything here since April. It's hard to keep a conspiracy going when there is solid evidence to the contrary.

Jay WindLIE told Jarrah, that the satellites are operating in the Van Allen Belts, so the radiation cannot be that bad. If you (=whoever reads this comment) don't believe it, check Jarrah White's MoonFaker Radioactive Anomaly (BTW any pro-Apollo dude willing to answer my question /watch?v=976WArQQHlU).

One complaint though, un4g1v3n1. Black text with red halo on a dark background isn't very readable. Put more contrast to it, pls.

Besides entertaining, the Lunarcy series is the best radiation info movies you can find in the Internet, and even though one would believe in Apollo, they are worth to watch to civilize oneself.

I wonder what excuse NASA will come up with next, as to why they can't photograph the Apollo "landing" sites? ... NASA now has the technology to resolve an image down to the "size of a beachball" on the Martian surface, yet refuse to send that same technology to the lunar surface to photograph the alleged Apollo debris.

I guess they don't want to the world to see what's really on the Moon.. and of course, what's not.

McKinnon's NOAA Technical Memorandum ERL SEL-22, this activity was not covered in any of their long range forecasts for August 1972.
