  • The best!!! :)

  • also nice move u got there

  • nice tagalog travis

  • buti pa cya, ako pilipino pero di marunong magluto nyan hehe

  • Geez, how do you get so fluent in Filipino?! Your accent may be a bit bad but my fluency is worse! What's even worse is that I'm a Filipino. That's why I speak mostly in English :(

  • @scar1ful Don't feel bad about only knowing how to speak English. That is OK too. We went through a lot of trouble to subtitle this so English-only speakers can follow it and hopefully enjoy it.

The point is you can still enjoy Filipino culture and the Filipino spirit regardless of what country or culture you come from.

  • Dude, when are you going to make another video? Looking forward to it :3.

  • @varsanx4 I have been making lots of videos. I have around 60 on this channel currently. Did you watch them all?

  • this is funny. that's cool you can cook the pinoy way. :D

  • @mvccarlos I am always happy to hear that people are enjoying my videos.

  • ang galing galing mo sa cooking :D

  • @ddrfreek59 Maraming salamat.

  • i find this funny because of your accent btw i really like you because you love the philippines that you really need to make videos in tagalog language haha but i think you should put subtitles so your fellow americans can learn how to cook filipino dishes

  • @RonJoshuaTorres This actually does have English subtitles so English-only speakers can follow along. I will have some videos coming up this year regarding Filipino life, but they will all be subtitled or shot in English to include everyone around the world and let them share in Filipino culture.

  • It's wonderful that you know how to cook those filipino food especially Dinuguan. I think you should open your own Pilipino Restaurant.

  • @luzsypewsy Others have been trying to talk me into opening my own restaurant in the Philippines, but I think I am going to stick to video-making for now.

  • im sure that filipinos love you too

  • hindi ka bagay

  • epic....

  • It's really great that you love the Philippines more than other Filipinos themselves! Kudos! Enjoyed your dinuguan cooking much!

  • @dnumyer19 Thanks. I am just trying to spread appreciation for Filipino culture and I hope Filipinos and others find a new appreciation for it. Hopefully they are also entertained along the way.

  • I recognise the music in the beginning, it's composed by Joe Hisaishi for the film "Dolls" by Takeshi Kitano lol

  • Wahahahahah sira ulo, galing galing

  • i love you! gwapo mo kuya! :)

  • Nakaka-touch naman ang mga video mo kuya..Some Filipinos do not even know how to appreciate these things..Keep it up man!

  • I'm gonna mark this day. This is the first time I saw your videos, and you're an amazing bloke! Are you still here in the Philippines?

  • @naruto9990595 Thank you for that! I am in America right now. Btw, many of my videos were shot in the Philippines but this one was actually shot in the USA.

  • @poolboyinla

Are you still planning to come back here?

    Anyway, pls do visit Mindanao.

  • pinoy proud :)

  • maganda sana kung ung mga numbers tinatagalog din!! :D

hayaang kumulo ng sampung minuto bwahaha oh dba mas maganda

  • 3:45... U R awesome!!! I take back my other comments

  • Keep it up dude!! I LOVE DINUGUAN!! :D

  • Ohh! Hail GREAT COUNTRY USA! I PRAISE YOU! LOOOWWLL! :))

  • WaY To Go Dude! Major props! U should more videos like this.:D

  • NAKAKAHIYA NAMAN ITONG VIDEO NA ITO DAHIL SARILI NATING PUTAHE AY IAASA PA NATIN SA IBA.

  • @jaiceedukes You should be proud that someone from such a great country like the USA also appreciates Filipino culture and wants to share it with others.

  • @poolboyinla you sound a little condescending towards the Philippines. just saying, despite the cultural lag & differences does not mean anyone should be "proud" of someone from a "great" country. I'm just using what you say. & trust me I'm not being bias. I am half filipino and half white and I serve the US Army.

  • @tswain90 This guy has has done a lot of videos as a tribute to the Philippines. What have you done to promote the Philippines?

    Travis is awesome!

  • @poolboyinla Wow! Now, you're being arrogant now? :)))

"Such a GREAT COUNTRY like the USA APPRECIATES Filipino culture?"

WTH? Any Filipino people who have read your comment will be mad. Surely :)))

  • @ShiroUnlimited No, I am not being arrogant to say the USA is a great country. I am not saying it is perfect or without flaws, but the fact is people from all over the world risk their lives to get to the USA.

That's why I don't have to do videos to show America is awesome. Everyone knows that. I am trying to open people's eyes to the Philippines and to Filipino culture. Hopefully I can help people also appreciate Filipino culture and people.

  • @poolboyinla don't mind what they say. i am filipino but i like what you do regardless of your race because your showing our culture to the world. God bless.

  • @bsarahangelica I am just glad my videos are reaching people and I am glad people are enjoying them. It is an honor for me to entertain people.

  • @poolboyinla to me, travis, u are a legend. my chinese friends are trying to learn how to speak and cook filipino stuff. im a filipino and i dont mind you speaking in filipino.

  • @pokemonkiller33 Thank you for that, but I am no legend. I am just a man trying to put something positive into the world and spread the word about what a terrific place the Philippines is.

  • @ShiroUnlimited Clearly u do not know what you are talking about.. i sure do hope you realize it someday.. im filipino myself, but dude, an american man trying to speak Tagalog and cooking a filipino food greatly implies that our culture is growing even more all over the world.

  • @ShiroUnlimited You completely got his message wrong, you're the one who should be ashamed. It's true, we should appreciate that other cultures gusto rin and cuisine natin.

They were basically just making a plot, don't be a such a moron. nakakhiya to.

  • @poolboyinla Don't listen to @jaiceedukes. I think your videos are great! (filipino here.)

  • your accent is so cute xD I'm filipino and i cant speak tagalog as well as you! lol

    BSIT 2b

  • I watched based on that party, party vedio by travis kraft I just say very nice even the American people are so well cooked pinoy .... do I have admiration for his culinary craft as pickled because I know that the American people also have difficulty in our language, but he soon learned he had, because he used when he cooked our language how to do the cooking when pickled. Even easier to do, but he he quickly learned how to do it.

  • i like travis kraft cooked simply because "dinogoan" was that he had done it more delicious and more particularly to relish this person. and more particularly he still impressed me with his work that even the traditional cuisine of Pinoy is he still madeit even though he grew up overseas I'm verry proud of you .. Keep up the good work.

  • It is nice to know that Travis Kraft (Superman) is cooking a Filipino dish that will surely watched by other people around the world. And he really cooked the "Dinuguan" like a professional chef.

    : Ian Leones

  • The Travis Kraft's Salo-Salo (Filipino instructional cooking video) is very entertainer to other american, so that other american can cook the food of filipinoes, becoz. of that filipinoes will proud the food that cook of travis kraft.

  • Youve got those kinda long lean but thick arms that look GREAT in small tshirt sleeves, nice! But damn the tease of you flexing in the vid thumbnail but that not actually appearing in the vid, color me sad!

  • @BryanBurns Thanks for the compliment. I do have big arms but they are very long which doesn't make them look as thick as they really are. They would really look huge if I had a shorter skeleton.

My dad actually has much bigger arms.

  • i Like when he say BAboy.. :) ehehehe

  • @rafsampang0111 One of my favorite words.

  • hehehehehehe....funny...act with a good coocking hhehehehehehe

  • I love your videos dude...you are probably more PINOY than the other full-blooded Filipinos...

  • @tph23 I am glad to hear that you are enjoying my stuff. That's what I'm here for.

  • and he learned Filipino just by watching language CDs. COOL !

  • @kylaluvsblaine02 Yeah, mostly. Spending time in the Philippines helps too and I learn a lot from that, but when go back to America I forget a lot. I am not an expert on the language by any means, but I speak it really well from learning from CDs and spending a limited time there.

  • luveeeetttt!!! i love dinuguan.. :-)

  • @jamielizabacani Glad to hear that!

  • this is awesome!

  • @megumiisan I am happy to hear that you enjoyed it.

  • Can Travis really speak Filipino? ^^ Or was it just for this video? =)

  • @jagiya4561 Yes, but not perfectly. It is my second language and I actually speak it really well for mainly just learning from language CDs and not living in the Philippines full time. I would speak it really well if I lived there full time.

  • The official language is Filipino because it incorporates a lot of the sounds from English and Spanish so the language is more than just Tagalog. People in America simply don't make the differentiations between Tagalog and Filipino.

  • @crunchylumpia The official language is called Filipino because that is what the government of the Philippines decided it should be named. You are absolutely right that it does incorporate many words from Spanish and English.

  • geez dude all were trying to do is help you get rid of your annoying accent (trust me there are some filipino's that get annoyed of people like that cuz they think your mocking them

and one more thing i cant believe you would be so mean to people who are trying to help you like @GlennZ0429

she isnt even filipino and she understands how we feel and stop using other people as an example on why not to try getting rid of your/their accents

seriously thats what i call a coward!

  • @coneboy007 What if Americans say they get annoyed at Filipinos for not speaking English like someone born in America?

  • @coneboy007 WHAT THE HECK DID YOU JUST SAID?

  • Huwag kalimutan, the best food that goes with dinuguan is "Puto" at hindi kanin.

  • @ThePrayerHotline Kuya Germs said the same thing.

  • okay - can you please try to work on your accent? I speak Spanish fluently (I'm from Pittsburgh and a gringo thru and thru) AND I at least work trying to sound less American when I'm speaking Spanish. I'm sure you can do it (unless this is part of your charm and shtick). It is very entertaining. My boyfriend is from Davao. He recommended it.

  • @GlennZ0429 It is part of my charm. Thanks for your advice, but I am doing really well without it. It's not like I go around telling people from other countries to work on their accent when they speak to me in English. Do people tell Arnold Schwarzengger or Antonio Banderas to work on their accents?

  • @poolboyinla - sorry if you took offense. I just think it shows respect for those who speak try to speak the other's native language to try to get some of the sounds correct. I teach American Accent Training to those who want to minimize their accent (so their prospects for finding a job are better.) That's where I was coming from. When I here an American speaking Spanish without any knowledge of how the vowels, Rs and T/Ds are pronounced, I just cringe. Enjoy your popularity! It's all good.

  • @GlennZ0429 I sound the same in Filipino as I do in English. That is me as a person. I just thought it is a weird thing to comment on when so many people worked hard to make this come together. It is just a little movie to entertain people. Like I said, I don;t watch an Antonio Banderas movie and say he needs to sound like an American.

By the way, if your boyfriend is from Davao, people in Manila would think he has a funny accent.

  • @poolboyinla dude! if you can speak it then you should KNOW what my LANGUAGE is called!!!! its not filipino!! its tagalog!!! >:O

its like saying i speak american! yes it does not sound right cuz you cant speak american cuz its a race! man people who call my language filipino gets me ticked off

  • @coneboy007 The name of the official language is Filipino, not Tagalog. Look it up, retard.

  • Comment removed

  • @coneboy007 oh well, the law says Filipino is the official language in the Philippines...it may be 95% Tagalog but the 5% is actually from other languages in the Philippines...

  • *cooking mama theme*

    Travis: Just like Travis~! :))

  • I think I'm quite infatuated with you, Travis.. =o This dish is one of my favourites! Thanks for teaching me how to make it, now I can show off my skills :)

  • @reegeena Thanks for the kind words. I hope whoever you cook for enjoys it.

  • try practicing your accents and ask someone that speaks tagalog more fluent cuz it'll help correct how you pronounce the words

and learn the basics to it too especially the vowels and stuff cuz thats the most important part to it (because thats how you souund out most words in my language)

or live in the philippines for 1-2 years because i did that and i knew how to speak it much more better and clearer (and yes i am pinoy and proud!)

  • @coneboy007 You can speak it much better? Good for you. I am sorry that you can't even make a video though.

  • @poolboyinla haha thanks? and i dont like posting videos of myself unless it was for school or something of the sort
