Clay Buchholz held the Yankees to two earned runs over six innings Saturday afternoon, but was left with the loss.
Buchholz wasn't brilliant, but needed a start like this to get him back on track mentally. The youngster was hammered for seven runs against the Orioles last time out and looked a lot more composed on the mound Saturday at Yankee Stadium. Hopefully he'll bring a fresh batch of confidence to his next outing, five days from now against the Tigers.
Wrong, 5 runs. I personally watched the game and Buchholz was terrible. I can see how he is super skinny and have a grate changeup. This guy isn't ready for the bigs.
i was there.
