As a matter of fact, the United States often times will aid countries that they won battles against, such as Germany and France in WWI.

I'm sure soldiers believe (most of them I hope) that is what they fight for - I wish we did - but I assure you that, historicaly, a war is almots NEVER based on principles. The only ruelrs that fought on principle where crazy (like urbain II who launched the first crusade, or philipe II of spain who... well... launched an assault against angland and epicly failed)... actually, country fought for ressources, mostly.

@nathansqwing I can understand how you would want our troops to come home I have some friends in the war, but we can't stop the fighting right now. Terrorists, their initial goal is to do exactly that terrorize people, if we just stopped the fighting and pulled out of the Middle East, they ( terrorists) would take it as us giving into submission. And therein would only increase their attacks on innocent people. They're monsters and our troops are there to defend us, soldiers go to war.

If presented with a stressful situation such as combat, a man's natural instincts take over and he and other men will compete to impress the woman. However, the Navy is now trying to pass a law to allow women on submarines. =D

Women still can't do combat roles in the US. Not the UK either, I believe. Most of the women you'll see in this video are from the security forces. Certainly not an easy job, but still not direct combat.

women in the british army do, have front line roles thats why we have lost a few to enemy fire, ive seen them at work just as good as us men.

they cant have combat mos(military occupational specialty) such as infantry or artillary, however they do have jobs such as medics where they can be attached to such unit and therefore be involved in direct combat
