Wow...in Manchester where I was born they used to kidnap children off the streets to work in the Cotton Mills. Five year olds used to work in Coal Mines. Not an easy time for a child one way or the other. Beautifully sung a start contrast to the dark and disturbing images of outr Industrial Age.
