Where Napoleon's navy was competent, the British was elite. Napoleon viewed his Admirals as amateurs compared to his generals. Land war was the real mans war he thought. Of course this attitude did him no favors when dealing with the British and their island kingdom.

The British wouldn't have had a chance if Napoleon's boot ever touched british soil. The Brits relied on their well manned navy and not on much on their ground forces against other european nations.

@ltflak cuz empire total war does not run through the napoleonic period, its mostly 18th century, meaning france at the time, had this kind of uniform =D

...unless u mean, its a bad color to march in xD then i guess i agree...but hey it'd look intimidating to me i think if i was a battle against them

my fps before I record is around 40, then when recording it drops to 17-18, and very occasionally hiccups below 10 for a few seconds. I think you have to get your initial fps up by upgrading your system, cleaning your system and make sure you have no other programs running.

Unlikely outcome.

Napoleon still had his veteran army at hand during the time this battle would possibly have taken place.

He only started losing battles after his defeat in Russia. The French Army after that was almost entirely made up of young men.

So IF Britain HAD been invaded by Napoleon with the French Army you'd have allot better bread right now :)

4 star because of conflicting patriotism (Besides why is Cranleigh mountainous? To my knowledge it is almost completely flat farmland).

lol, i was wondering if someone would comment on the "location", this was the closest map, i think, in the single player custom battles. Theres a few others that might pass which I at first used, then when I was editing....I noticed a palm tree ;).

Maybe next vid ill record in multiplayer with both sides able to take orders from the director.

THis is good, but there is a "but".

The music and some sound/music under the gaming where mix with each other so it was kind wrong to play it out like that.

the other thing I want to talk about is that it's just a battle and the landskap is like... in scotland? There is another mulitplayer map where is looks more like British but I don't remaber the name of the map.

THis is never a bad video, just so mistakes. So I hope you learn and get better from this review.

Love it. I actually go back and watch battle replays a lot because usually in the moment I'm too concerned with the issue at hand to appreciate the cinematics.

Still though, it's so much better edited and set to appropriate music. heck, how'd you do it?
