Hi, been playing about 15 years now prob about 12 when I uploaded this one. Check out my newer vids for better quality and some of my newer ideas. Cheers
Hi, it's just me playing a piece from a Jon Liebman tutor book, as apposed to a tutorial in itself. The book is called 'Funk Bass', in the bass builders series.
I've been playing for 11 years. Probabaly learnt this piece about 8 years ago. When I started slapping it probably took a year or so to get really accurate. In terms of getting this piece down - probably took a few days. Happy slapping, as it were.
Very nice... that's the very last exercise from Jon Liebman's "Funk Bass" book. I just got it a few weeks ago, but haven't learned any of it yet. I think I'm gonna start with this one. Casimer, do you have any other examples from that same book that you think are good? A lot of the beginning exercises are really boring (fundamentals type exercises) but that last one is sweet. I like that slide you threw in at the end (that's not in the book).
nope, just a standard, passive, Warwick Corvette. Which is a dream to play, some people don't seem to like warwicks tho! It was good enough for Zender and it's good enough for me.
amazing

Nice slapping but I don't see how it can be described as a tutorial. Some explanation of what's going on would be nice.
