My sister went to India for a few months, you should always take preventive measures before going to countries like that. She took malaria pills before, during, and after. She got all her vaccines for where she was going. She didn't get sick. Whoever doesn't educate themselves before going to 3rd world countries, it's their own fault for getting sick.
