  • LMAOOOOOOO , that is the STUPIDEST ending theme i've ever heard !

  • Was this show anything like The Sopranos?

  • It should've lasted a lot longer

  • @Mprator, UofLCardFan08, and slydog221. They weren't referring to the President at the time the show aired but to a president who had previously been an actor: Ronald Reagan. He was an actor for many years before becoming the governor of California and then President.

  • was AJ from the backstreet boys on here?

  • @OTHbabe23 "Future Backstreet Boy A. J. McLean was originally cast as Sidney "Skunk" Duff and was replaced by Eric Kushnick. The pilot was then re-shot with the different actors and aired." So that was not him.

  • I'm a 90s gal now, and I know all the jive lingo. ...YO!...Brownie? ;)

  • Wow You Tube you find everything. I believe this was Gale Gordons last Tv appearance..

  • I Loved this show I hated when they cancelled it after such a short run

  • Love it!...Wish someone would post some of the others. There were about 10 I think...

  • I used to watch this show every night!!! ((Nothing could pull me away from it)) LOL

  • Who was elected President? Reagan?

  • @Mprator

    Most likely would've been Clinton.

  • @Mprator don't start that, i've already seen that movie

  • @Mprator i was just wondering the same thing.

  • GOD, I miss the early '90s!!! Waaaaaaaah!

  • Do you have the episode with Audrey Meadows and Joyce Randolph guest starring as Trixie and Alice from the Honeymooners? That was my favorite!!!

  • Gale Gordon looks much younger here than he did on "Life with Lucy", which was Lucille Ball's last sitcom, from 1986. This is from 1991. He looks almost like he did when he actually played Mr. Mooney, on "The Lucy Show", which he co-starred in from 1963-1968.

  • Oh lord. This may be the worst thing I've ever seen. Even Small Wonder was better.

  • I wish my life was like this.

  • I use to love this show! Gayle Gordon comedic genius

  • I use to love this show!

  • I keep forgetting what this show was called and I have google things like "magic remote" to find out again. I hope I remember this time.

  • Why does the boy look like a kid version of Jeff Bridges?

  • I've met Peter Benson (Mike)! He's so sweet!

  • And one of them is president? Who was she referring to?

  • It would have been better with the WHOLE episode. The beginning part is missing

  • mullet

  • Do you have anymoire episodes? Personally, I loved it!

  • @JaTraLu This and "Dinosaurs" back in the early 90's would be a good upload. Remember that show where the father was supposed to resemble a Fred Flinstone, and everyone loved "the baby?"

  • This was virtually Gale Gordon's last TV appearance (he came out of retirement to appear as "Mr. Mooney" just once more, for this occasion); he passed away four years later, in 1995.

  • Geeze I miss this show!!!

  • My absolutely favorite TV show of ALL time. When oh when will they put this out on DVD?

  • Way before it's time! Why must Hollywood and Network TV keep remaking things that are already awesome and then proceed to ruin them? Why not take good idea's that were originally horribly produced, and remake those? Imagine this show's concept was on HBO in present time, with David Cross, Louis CK, Bill Burr, Lisa Lampanelli, Tim Stack, and a whole bunch of other awesome ass comedians. It would be AMAZEING!

  • This show was FUCKING terrible then, and it's even more FUCKING terrible now. I'm still shocked it even lasted a season. It should've never made it past the first pilot. It's so half-baked and lame.

And it was really strange with some of the jokes. It was shown on Nickelodeon making jokes about condoms? Then there was the episode about sex education?!!! WTF?

Somebody at Nick f'ed up by allowing this on, and ABC f'ed up by running it. This is one of the strangest (dumb) ideas ever.

  • Rita from Dexter has a fuller figure here.

  • Loved this show then, LOVE IT MORE NOW. Gonna make the 50s mom's dress.

  • @amyjeannemac that dress is actually quite awesome. i love it. let me know how that goes for you.

  • this makes me incredibly happy.

  • First time I've seen this show in 20 years- used to watch it all the time! Brings back great memories of early 90's.

  • Actually, it's only been eighteen years since this show was cancelled. I used to enjoy watching it too. God in heaven where do the years go?

  • "Oh, poo!!" LOVED this show!! Oh, my GOD, I miss 1991-92, you have no idea...

  • I've been looking for this show for a while now. It was a great concept that preceeded that huge wave of nostalgic sitcom remakes. I'm convinced if it had come just a couple of years later, it would have been a hit. The performances were a little weak but the concept was great. I'd never seen this episode before - the premier I guess. I almost get the impression Mike wanted to give Honey a happy ending!

  • I used to watch this religiously back in Jr high! I loved it!!!

  • 11:20, well this is your home now, honey. so get used to it.

  • Comment removed

  • Whoever put that ending theme together should be shot.

  • @mlnreplyer I seriously couldnt agree more lol.

  • Oh I remember this show...it was actually kinda funny.

  • Julie Benz was the daughter. Mmm Julie Benz...

  • @willivanilli07 I WANT HER TO RIDE ME LIKE A BENZ

  • i think that oven is the same oven in carly's apartment in iCarly

  • I was just excited to see Gale Gordon.

  • Why wouldn't the Nielsens be able to go back on the air if anyone found out their true identities?

  • omgosh..lol completly forgot about this show..lol

  • daughters soooo hot

  • I would totally do the daughter! Then the mom...

  • the original skunk was a BACKSTREET BOY. he wasnt bad either

  • Omg, thats Darla from Angel.

  • More episodes please.

  • Wow...Pleasantville much?

  • I acutally watched his faithfully.

  • @DollfaceNesmith ME TOO!

  • What's with the Micheal J Fox clone? Is that his stunt double. That chick is on dexter.

  • i s that Darla?

  • @tristanv1: Yes, that is Darla (Julie Benz). I saw that in another video that shows the show's opening credits.

  • Daria haha, remember the episode where daria is in the 50's

  • They taped this show at Nickelodeon Studios.

  • did anybody find the pilot wit aj from backstreet boys in it

  • check out BITCH the play this week at the fringe festival in NYC

  • lmao

  • I thought Gale Gordon was dead

  • He was still alive when this episode was made. ^_^

  • I loved Gale Gordon, his facial expressions and tone of voice and the way he delivered his lines were priceless!

The way he says things are so delightfully sinister! I hear in real life he was even nicer than he was sinister on TV.

  • What that Mr. Mooney from the Lucy Show?

  • Yes. ^_^

  • Mike Duff was such a dork

  • i remember this show...the cast was great, but the show was awful!

  • Even though it was cheesey, I loved this show back in the day. NICK on Sunday nights in the house.

  • daughters hot!

  • This clip was funny! :D

  • lmao....i forgot barry cutler played the homeless guy in this...what a crotchety old fart he was....lol

  • i worked at nick when this was on....the cast were cool but the show was awful....lmao

  • omg XD this used to be my favorite show in the world

  • i so remember this show! i always wondered what happen to it! think i was like 7 when it was on, but i loved it! please post more episodes if you have them! thanks for posting this one!!! :)

  • Thanks for posting this.

  • "Maybe if you had acted like me and paid more attention to your husband you'd still have one" LOL

  • But it wasn't Elaine's fault that her husband left her.

  • That blonde is damn busty

  • I think that's Julie Benz, from Dexter, Rambo, and others.

  • I miss this

  • Wow, it's even worse now then when I first saw it!

  • This is so cool I watched this show when I was a kid I loved it so much

  • Geeze, I've never lost memory of this show even though it lasted only a season. Was this show so bad that none of these actors ever got another gig? I've never seen any of them since this show aired. They'll never put these kinda shows out on dvd no matter how much people like myself would buy em. I want the old series from the 80's also known as "Tales of the Golden Monkey". Ahhhhh!!! Course the blonde daughter in this series is hot. I like that 50's get up. Grrrrrrroooowllllll...

  • Yeah Julie Benz who played the daughter has been in quite a few big projects, including Jaw Breaker, the new Rambo, and Dexter

  • I wonder where Petticoat Junction got relocated to.

  • Playboy Mansion

  • I doubt it, Shin.

  • I was actually refering to the daughters on Petticoat Junction specifcally.

  • I remember this show so much! More episodes need to be put online!

  • Obama was a camera man for this show. it's true!

  • THE MEMORIES, WOW

  • Why didn't he tell them about cell phones and the internet? Didn't they know that Barrack Obama was the president?

  • this show was on back in 91 and 92, bush sr. was president.

  • MULLETUDE!

  • Early 90's male hair was not cool.

  • This show was on when I was in the 7th grade. I was really into classic sitcoms at the time, and I was such a dork that I created a "database" of each episode's special guest star.

Does anyone remember the teen dude from a PSA about tinnitus?

  • was this ever put on dvd? does anyone have the whole series?

  • I want to see the whole series on youtube.

  • this isnt actually the only pilot. the other one was much ruffer and starred a BSB member as Skunk

  • Only 13 episodes of the series were produced in 1991-'92...the first six were also seen on ABC in the summer of '91.

  • I made Snickerdoddles!!

  • I love this show as a kid

  • I loved this show. I used to reinact this. I had a loved the 70's look. I still know the song by heart. Damn shame

  • its actually 50s setting, but good for you

  • Wish i knew where to get the whole series

  • you mean season.. haha

  • Same thing in the case of HHIH

  • MY GOD!! I'm five years old all over again!! :D

  • I LOVED this show!!! Thank you for posting this!

  • does anyone have the remake of this episode?

  • 4:53

    BURN!!!!!!!

  • I never realized how much of a geek Mike Duff was until now.

  • I loved this show!! I'm so glad I found this clip!!

  • wish someone would post all teh episodes

  • Ah, man. I'm having flashbacks to fourth grade. I didn't go to bed on Sunday nights until I watched this. Please upload some more episodes or clips. Thanks.

  • damn, i've been trying to figure out the name of this show forever. i used to love this show. still do. thanks for putting it up

  • I'm the opposite! I used to hate this show with a passion when i was a kid, but now watching it, i actually laughed, its such a silly show with an interesting concept. haha

  • I seemed to think this was like the best show ever, now watching it I can't figure out why.

  • I think Babs is gonna be in Saw 5. I will always love you Babs.

  • I loved this show as kid. Not so great as an adult.

  • yep it's as poorly written as I thought when I was a kid, Pleasantville was MUCH better

  • Oh my God! I haven't seen this show in 17 years, since it first aired. I used to watch it all the time when I was a kid.

  • I think this show is even MORE necessary for a remake in the 15+ years it debuted and failed. Just think at the inventions (TiVo, iPods, the Internet, etc.) and cultural events (OJ Simpson, Nipplegate, Britney Spears). Wow, 14:12 pilot?

  • hahaha Nice little dig at Ted Turner, colorizing the world. :p This show needs a DVD release. Not people taping episodes and burning them to blank DVD.

  • the boy is A.J. McLean???

  • the "sunk" haired boy?? yep!!

  • No it's not. AJ played Skunk only in the pilot. He later got replaced by a nephew of either the director or the producer, so he didn't even make it onto the "proper" season.

  • The pilot was then re-shot with the different actors and aired. The original pilot went unaired until Nickelodeon's 20th anniversary "Best of Nickelodeon" marathon. The original pilot aired on Nickelodeon on June 27, 1999

  • In the series' pilot, two different actors were initially cast in two roles and were later recast for subsequent episodes. Actress Dee Hoty was originally cast as Elaine Duff, but replaced by Susan Cella. Future Backstreet Boy A. J. McLean was originally cast as Sidney "Skunk" Duff and was replaced by Eric Kushnick.

  • HOW AMAZING TO SEE GALE GORDON!!!! Nice to see Mr. Mooney almost thirty years later...

  • Just learned from Wiki that Julie Benz (Darla on Buffy/Angel) played the daughter Babs. Had to check this out for myself, lol I miss 90s Nick@Nite...

  • I was a big fan of this show too! I must of been experiencing the "perfertworld" syndrome...Too bad that world only exists on television... Thanxs for the upload!

  • i bet the kid with the mullet was a bad dude.

  • wow the pilot episode rocks

  • I loved this show as a kid!

  • So did I! :D

  • I honestly thought I was the ONLY person who remembered this show! This is great. I was begining to think I was crazy and it never exsisted.

  • Until now I was thinking that I just imagined that it ever existed!!!!!

  • OMG, you and me both... I thought the same thing! Thank you so much, AirAzonaRadioLLC!

  • lol...me too! so happy to find it ! wish there were more episodes! :)

  • While cheesy, this show was actually very smart at times!!

  • Did the film Pleasantville borrow from this? Looks like it

  • man oh man that was a funny show

  • wow - i remember this!! i haven't thought of this show in YEARS!! i loved watching this when i was 11 - and it's actually really funny!

  • dude, if you have ANY FULL EPISODES of these on hard copy (vhs/dvd burn) please(!) PM me and perhaps we can talk trade? =D

  • I remember this show. Awesome, thanks for uploading!

  • this is the best show ever
