  • what is in those beakers

  • love the video really good

  • when it turned yellow then black it seemed that the black generated around your fingers was the reaction caused by the heat in your fingers??

  • HE'S A WITCH!

  • i only saw this when i searched iodine clock reaction but it never comes up in the related videos

  • spangler doesnt know what is actually going on - he's a good performer though

  • why does your name sound familiar to me?

  • oh for heavens sake.

  • the other guy is so gullible, does whatever steve says its gonna do

  • @wwefan6191001 When you've got someone to your left talking really quickly and giving you a whole bunch of beakers and random chemicals, I think you'd be pretty gullible too

  • OM FRICKIN G

  • black and yellow, black and yellow.

  • He's mixing unmarked chemicals together...

  • Chemicals can be so pretty :)

  • Do you sell versions with the orange > black water-changer or red water changer? All I see so far is Think Ink, but I'd really like to wow my teachers and classmates with the different colors.

  • Turn on the Transcribe audio at 00:51 and see what it says.

It's the [CC] Button by the graphics...

  • four people drank the second test thinking it was orange juice, and now can't tell green from red

  • what are you mixing up?

  • what are you mixing up water, vodka?

  • "wanna see it go backwards"..."YES!!!!!!" AHAHHAHAHA

  • What chemicals you use for multiple changing reaction?

  • It's changing blaack eeeaeheheahhhhh!!!

  • god must fix these glitches.

  • we never got to see anything like this at my school -_____- my teacher would just make us copy from text books or from the bored for an hour, witch sucked because I really like science

  • I think that I can now appreciate the fact that acid-base reactions aren't especially intuitive; this trick is very much not intuitive. what would happen if you had a beaker of this indicator dye type stuff and then you had near it a charged rod, would it change colors in some parts of the glass?

  • Oh for heaven sake

  • I cant wait for next year in high school to take chemistry!

  • This video is cooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooool!

  • how do you make the red cabbage juice clear ?? i would really like to know because im doing this as a science experiment and i want to make it clear like you did but when i blow into it it does't work

  • what was the reaction from clear to rep with delay?

cobalt komplex? or just phenolptaleiut how did they delay the clear to red reaction?

    anyone??

  • oh for heavens sake

  • awesome!!

  • i wnna study chemistry now !

  • WWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWWWW

i wish this would be an everyday activity in class!!!!! ♥♥♥♥♥♥

  • what does it take to do this experiment, is it possible to do it at home, with items we could find.. in a pharmacy or something ?

  • Yum Sunny D oh no no it turned to oil

  • oh for heavens sake

  • is it me or when you hold it depending on where your fingers are that where it starts to change?

  • aaahhhhh changing black ahhhhhhhhh!

  • you just made scienced fun!

  • "It's not warm or anything." *burns hand off*

  • Cant wait to do this is Chemistry this school year.

  • OH FOR HEAVEN SAKES/....EVERY FRICKEN EPISODE

  • you have created a new substance? i doubt it!

  • Iodine clock

  • it seems to change color where the fingers are holding the glass first then the rest changes. does heat from your fingers have anything to do with that?

  • can I be on the show lol!

  • hmm now we know how they do it in the oxiclean commercials.

  • oh for heavens sake

  • i want u to be my sience teacher

  • can u give me ideas on wat 2 do ,dat ma chemistry teacher gives me gud marks

  • @vishesh545 check out our free experiments library

    SteveSpanglerScience . com/experiments

We have hundreds of free ideas!

  • @vishesh545, first of all, learn proper grammar and spelling ;)

  • @vishesh545 OK but good luck in English haha

  • @vishesh545 Learn to spell? Sorry if that sounds rude but if you spell like that in school you will fail at every thing you do

  • @vishesh545 Start in english class first.

  • Put some helmets clowns)

  • i wish he was my science teacher

  • wow, how can he do that!

  • the guy on the left looks like alex trebek...

  • That guy is from BlendTec xD

  • amazing

  • aye we learn from this guy in science class

  • The host was all, "Let me do the damn thing!"

  • At my university(Eindhoven University of Technology) they showed us also a clockreaction, but that one changed constantly from black to colorless and back again. The reactioen went over and over between the two substances, it went on for fifteen minutes. It was really amazing to see personally!

  • Oh Snap!! That's Denver!! Haha. My local channel

  • is this how jesus turned water into wine?

  • Yes

  • that would be my guess

  • jajjajajajaj, might be

  • @Prestonboy13 some say yes.

  • @Prestonboy13 Lol could be, only problem would be none of this is drinkable and would taste nothing like wine.

  • @Prestonboy13 - I have a (non-imaginary) friend who actually does turn water into wine. Well, when I say "water into wine"... it does go through an intermediate stage called "grapes".

  • @Prestonboy13

    yes

  • someone should record this with a high speed camera in slow motion!

  • @mav001 brusspup did.

  • Now I know how they're gonna turn the moon red.

  • ™what chemical are having ™

    ™to the water?™

  • omg if you can make it mach the coulor of your shirt and put it in a plastic camilion hold it in front of you and you have a brand new toy!!

  • thats is soo awesome i wanna do it

  • That looks so cool!

  • That's really cool!!!

  • Was that last one the Briggs-Rausher oscillating reaction?

  • No but I am trying to find out what the chemicals used are. The Briggs Rauscher changes from clear to blue black several times hence the word 'oscillating'.

  • Nope, the whole thing is the Nassau reaction.

  • the think ink kit makes black color but how do you make the orange and red color?

  • can someone tell me whta chemicals are used

  • how does it change so fast?!

  • Wow Cool! Is that "Think Ink"?

Or did you just rename it? Awesome!!!!

  • Wow! Cool! Is that different from "Think Ink" because it looks the same? AWESOME!!!!

  • It's the same idea with different chemicals!

  • WOWOWOWOW!
