Regardless of her political affiliation, as a congress woman and a guest on your show, she should be treated with some degree of respect. That's basic! Gas prices aren't "down" they are way higher then Bush's last year and projected to hit all time highs next year. Grow up? A recession did exist, and we have now pulled out of it. Gas prices are in fact down from the record high prices experienced while Bush was in office. You expect them to go as low as $1.50 a gallon again and stay that way? The bubble burst, so to speak, and that was the result. Psychology can helps with lots of conditions (I know, I'm a Psychotherapist) but it simply cannot transform moral depravity. You need another sort of specialist for that kind of help.
