  • This is a Loving Spoonful song! Their original is and always will be best!!

  • This is gut-wrenching, soul searching, let it all out ,real music!!!

  • bEAUTIFUL MUSIC !!!!

  • Wonderful song....Great version....as only Cocker can do...

  • Joe, while you hit yet another,I'm heading back to Woodstock for John Sebastian.......

  • great relief of having you to talk to

  • Has this bum ever done an original song?

  • @Aggiechilds anything Joe Cocker sings becomes his 'original song' and if you had a clue about music you would understand that. his vocal gifts transform any song he does into his own 'original song.' some artistes write 'original songs' because a songwriter earns nearly as much from music sales as the recording artist does, so if the recording artist is also the songwriter, the pay is much greater. Mr. Cocker is not the greedy type. he doesn't give his audience jingles so he can get more money.

  • @Aggiechilds fuck you!!!!!!

  • @Aggiechilds Joe Cocker co-wrote over 50 songs, the latest one, woman to woman, was recored by tupac shakur and made into a million seller. You must be an idiot. Even the Beatles said that he did their songs better than they did. And Jeff Lynn (ELO) wrote songs just for him to sing. How old are you? 12?

  • does this song justice

  • ...for the great relief of having you to talk to.

  • COCKER COVER BLOWS THEOTHERS [ EVEN THE ORIGINAL] OUT THE FUCKIN WATER!!!

  • This song sums up how I feel about my wonderful wife.

  • I have witnessed my parents in such deep soulful Love for so many years....this is one of those songs that embraces that feeling... Breathtaking! (with tears)

  • caralho esssa musica é um barato..

  • I'd like to fucking handle Joe Cocker.....

  • I'd like to fucking handle Jor Cocker.....

  • I can't fucking handle joe cocker.....

  • GREAT Loving Spoonful song.even Slade did a good version

  • Most under-rated song ever.

  • Ranzabar: Listen to 91.1 FM "The Avenue". We play lots of Joe Cocker.

    Cheers,

    Steve March-Tormé

  • We need to hear more Joe on the radio

  • Listen to The Moons version x

  • One of the greatest songs and singers of all time to chill out to

  • Cette version est sublime ,joe a la voix faite pour cela !! bravo ... que du bonheur

  • Freddieboy44

    Listen to Slades version.

  • Come and talk about the things we did today, laugh about our funny little ways. From joe's second album w/Delta Lady, and Hitchcock Railway. Great album

  • love it but lovin spoonful's is still the best

  • Love... but I still dont know which version is the best. If Joe cocker or slade! =)

  • The best cover song ever recorded. Joe Cocker at his best.

  • Nobody, but nobody, can cover a song and make it their own the way that Joe Cocker can. A true master! I usually prefer original versions of songs, but I can't think of any Joe Cocker covers that are not exceptions to that rule. Even all the Beatles songs he's covered, including 'Come Together' in the movie 'Across The Universe.' I had no idea he was going to be in that movie but when I heard before I saw him and "JOE COCKER!!"

  • It's strange. Sometimes in life it's as if a song will find you when you need to hear it - even though it's been in my car on a cassette I never really played - this song is so relevant right now. Freaks me out, but in a good way. Anyone else ever have this experience?

  • @pdb1325 Yes I did, just a while ago I heard this on the radio in the Netherlands.

My girlfriend atm is 2000 km's away, waiting for me to find an appartment to live together. Half a year since I've lived with her, seen her a couple of weeks since then.

Let's hope my darling will be home soon.

  • Joes version is awesome..coming in second is Slade..in my opinion that is,not stating it as fact :P

  • I want to have sex with this song.

  • yay

  • it s great

  • This is my favorite John Sebastian song but I have to say that I like Joe's version the best. Guess I'd have to admit that I'm not The Loving Spoonful's #1 fan but I just like most of their songs done by someone else. They got some gooduns tho!

  • @Freddieboy44 Agreed-- Joe also has a verson of "Can't Find My Way Home" that rivals the quality of Blind Faith.

  • @jwmellott Right! I've heard it and agree. Makes me think: be interesting to hear him do some Traffic; like Mr. Fantasy. I haven't heard him doing it but I'll have to check it out. He's done alot.

  • @Freddieboy44 It's not a Loving Spoonful song...they covered it from all-time greats Slade. It's Noddy Holder's song!

  • @MrSilentwolf21 Thanks. I didn't know that. I thought I was correct thinking it was a John Sebastian song. Seems I saw him credited for it on a LS album. I could be mistaken. Been awhile since I sat down and read album backcovers.

  • @MrSilentwolf21 actually it is a lovin spoonful song released in 1967... slade's version on 'slade alive' was released in 1972

  • @MrSilentwolf21

It was written by Sebastian. Slade covered it.

  • dont illegaly download music its a disgrace to all musicians

    joe cocker rules!

  • One of the best underrated songs of all time.

Thanks for the upload. God Bless!

  • @MrOverdoser Absolutely.

  • he is the man

  • great song by a great singer!

  • Sorry about bursting your bubble, but JC didnt write the song. It was John Sebastian from The Lovin' Spoonful. But I do agree that JC does a better version.

  • lol joe cocker makes everything great. he did a better job at with a little help from my friends than ringo starr.

  • @djmvictoria ... it's a cover
