This was one of the ones that I remembered from when it was broadcast on TV, it was brilliant, the DVD is wonderful, it's such a shame that some of the earlier episodes were destroyed :(

The third series is now available on DVD. It was excellent 40 years ago, and it is still very watchable today. Happy memories !

@duckgeezer Not quite sure what you're driving at here. Racism was rife in the early 70's (it still is to some degree today). Personally I think an actor/actress should be judged on his/her ability to act rather than the colour of their skin.

Micheal Mckenzie is a very good at accents. He can do both posh and Glasweigian just as convincingly.
