The only problem I am having with this movie is everybody expecting the government to protect them. We need to take the lead in our own eating. It is lazy to expect the government to be our mommy..

@wiseroldowl yea, that is true but there is a difference between having no intervening government and knowing you're on your own with regards to food regulation, and having these false iconic institutions that are infiltrated with corporate interests acting borderline malevolently to coverup these nutritional transgressions.

@wiseroldowl While I think we need some oversight so companies dont poison the food, I agree that Americans need to look at we're eating. I like the concept of: If you have seen it on TV or in a magazine, DO NOT ingest it. It got so complex for me - trying to track all the persevatives and chemicals and fats - that I went vegan. I eat about as healthy as you can in today's world (tho I like me some pb&j a little too much) and I do not have to spend hours in the market going blind reading labels.
