  • I love that kind of beef cooking. I'm viet and my mom makes them crispy with a bit of soy sauce of it

  • Yep!

The place is very cheap to live! I was there back packing.. cost me less than a $100 for a week! Then proceed to Cambodia!

    Nice!

  • what the crap? im half viet and i find eating dog disgusting i have never ever seen anyone eating dog anyways -_-

  • Wow Stop stereotyping for a fact i know even vietnamese people find eating dogs disgusting immoral

  • just to clarify, south vietnamese do NOT eat dog or cat... Only the north ppl... if anyone agree like this..

  • YIET KIEU!

  • co ai chien cai gi vang vang dau tien the (com hay la dau xanh 0?

  • @andydo2007vietnam

do la com rang thoi ma

  • You got all that for just one dollar??

  • @Ilnath Vietnam is a poor country, and stuff like that is really cheap. 1 dollar here is worth more there.

  • @sonofaniger YEA U POOR COUNTRY. AND SHUT UP U MOUTH

  • @gogisiu Don't talk to me you stupid kid. Have you not learned how to spell yet?

  • @Ilnath yes you can get all of that for just one dollar

  • i love street food cooked right in front of your face, theres nothing better than that

  • @neper1982 There is SO much talent displayed right in front of you and the flavors are outstanding...I agree

  • @neper1982 I'm Mexican, and this is one thing I like and miss about Mexico. not only was the street food cooked in front of your face, it was cheap and quick food. It was great especially in the fairs and in the plazas

  • What kind of oil do they use?

  • Thats actually pretty good. :D I love vietnam :D

  • Yumm!

  • still meat left on the pan?

    o_0

  • yuuuuuuuum!

  • drinking with dog meat is very tasty.

  • what is the price of it now? 1.5 US$ ?

  • 1:08 - The dinner walked in.

  • @cr3916jkd2 no that dog is a pet. it has a collar

  • Pussy is cheaper !

  • yay i understand what they are saying cuz i am vietnamese.

  • tIEM AN O DAU VAY?

  • Interesting video. Its good to see how other people around the world eat :)

However, I do noticed in most of the Asian street vendors' videos that there

are NO flies anywhere near the foods. How do they keep those pests away?

  • @puggychu It's simple...the heat will keep those flies away

  • You guys are real bunch of idiots if you can't identify beef, pork, or chicken. In Viet Nam there's many kind of variety of meats so stop being so fucking close minded and think they only eat dog and cats....IDIOTS

  • @usoohot lmao haha My mom whenever my dad says it's dog or cat my mom gives a gross face lol (my moms viet and my dads white). yeah not everyone in vietnam eat dogs or cats. Long ago in america people ate horse, and sometimes their dog because that's what was available to them and it was food. To be honest people are trippin if your going to eat meat then eat it don't complain about your meat ethics. Meat is meat.

  • the four times i been to vietnam all i ate was street food mmmmmm

  • Try fish or shrimp. That might be cat. :(

  • ITS NOT BEEF ITS DOG LOLZ HAHAHA

  • @moewishaw Well such a pity because u can't even know what is dog and beef look like :|

  • @moewishaw we dont even fucking eat dog. go be a dumbass somewhere else

  • @DestroyerSword Actually some vietnamese eat dog. I've had the chance to.

  • that for now is like atleast 4 -5 dollars !

  • that looks mighty good but i wouldnt. I had food poisoning from a food vendor in Vietnam and one time is enough. Messed me up for 3 days

  • @TurtLePimpin That's because you are not used to the same bacteria in their food as you would be in your home country. Drinking foreign water too can make you sick. You have to build a tolerance for it and in time you will. It's not because the food is bad, it's because it's foreign to you. You become sick because you introduced your body to something that is not "usual" or "norm". The human body is however, very adaptive.

  • @tkathryyn the food wasnt bad, i just dont think it was cooked thoroughly.

  • @tkathryyn its funny because my uncles friend (who has never left Vietnam his entire life) got the runs too. Food poisoning is very bad in Vietnam and the locals get it too.

  • @TurtLePimpin I usually get a shot first from my doctor before I travel so I can eat all the street food I want. Even though you get sick at first, eventually your body will adapt.

  • Ăn không bị đau bụng đâu! Ngon lắm :)

  • @rongbebong Haha, made my day

  • NACIHOLIDAYS .YOUR WAY MATE

  • All of that for a dollar? Man, she deserves more than that. Hopefully you guys gave her more than a dollar.

  • I should not have watched at night since it looks delicious... omg...

  • what ever u do dont touch the dogs they are very dirty no one owns them

  • @Swapert81 haha these Vietnamese people dont owns dirty dogs but they sure cook them and eat like roast pork.

  • @503zzach ....people in India think it is weird that Americans eat cows, as cows are sacred in india. But yet beef is viewed as normal here in US. That is no different as how dog eating is normal in some parts of the world, yet US views it as strange.

Society gives certain values to animals, its that simple.

  • ok why she leave a few slices of beef behind??? i think once you leave she eats them to fill up her tummy, so she don't have to take a break plus she saves money on food cost lol but anyhow, great vid!

  • vietnamese food is the best

  • i love vietnamese pho ga!!

  • @vivspring

    Yes! Yes!

  • cat meat? rat meat? or horse meat? you are the customer!!

  • @tumadre9 it's beef idiot !

  • now it costs 3$ because of the critical inflation. >.<

  • @phi9x Yup, can't get anything for $1 nowaday. :(

  • this video make me hungry too, i really love the vietnamesse food they have a can of beef noodle soup called PHO this is the best food in the world and I thik i'm the only spanish man in the world testing and loving this food. after i taste this soup i ken't survive without i have to eat unce a week

if you don't know about this soup ask in any vietnamesse restaurat

there are a lot en edison new jersey

  • is it clean

  • @dxdd34 yes it clean : )

  • who else wanted the spare beef at the end? omg

  • Lol damn, leave deleafol alone. The guy/girl has a point. Would u go to Japan to eat sesame chicken?? Of course what this woman is making in the video looks very mouth watering, but it wouldn't be my main attraction for my visit to Vietnam.

And trust me, I'm 100% pure Vietnamese. And I had worked in the Vietnamese restaurant business, for my dad's place, since I was 14. I have cooked everything from pho, bun Bo hue, mi xao, cha goi, banh mi and fried rice. No matter how u put it, fried rice

  • thats yummy

  • Why didn't she add all the beef ? Lol! SCAM!

  • @BrianEaZy I noticed the same thing.

  • @AsianMeatBunBoy I LOVE YOUR NAME LOL!

meatbunboy! hahahahaha I always call my sister a bbq pork bun !

  • @BrianEaZy LOL I love bbq pork bun. Damn goood!

  • i think it wass a dobberman

  • I am afraid 1 USD can not buy anything near that anymore, thanks to inflation there. It probably costs about 2 bucks or more these days. KFC was 7 USD more than a year ago for a meal with drink which the later was sold separately.

  • thats hella oil to cook egg lol

  • they sure has lots of motorcycle in vietnam . ^_^

  • nothing beats a hot food! ^_^ what currency they use in vietname? and how much a mere 1 dollar there? awesome food.

  • @AnimeEpic um $1 is around $20,000 VND.? i guess enough for a street meal.

  • @AnimeEpic they use dong and i forgot about how much it is worth

  • yummy!!!

  • that shit looks so god how much did you pay for 1 dollar ?

  • this is famous thing in Vietnam " Street food" I love it so much yummmyyyy!!!!!!!!

  • awwww sheeeet... i love vn foods

  • YUM :P

  • YUMMY..Gonna find that lady with a pretty smile when I get there. Fixing to leave for VN within anothrt 20 hours. CAnt wait. Awesome vid man

  • U know how us Vietnamese say the dirtier ,the better ,the flavors.

  • @discoverVNmusic

A few decades ago I worked part-time as a waiter at an expensive restaurant in the States while attending college. If you think food served at these eat out places in Vietnam or any other countries is dirty you better work as a waiter/waitress at high class restaurants to find out for yourself first-hand how dirty food is processed in the kitchen before going on a pretty plate for the waiter to serve the customers....:))

  • @mas360 I agree

  • @mas360 hahahah so true I've worked at many "professional" Kitchens. However, work in a dive bar somewhere are you'll really experience some fucked up shit when it comes to serving food lol.

  • @mas360 Favorite comment of 2011

  • @mas360 True. We are so civilized now it's pathetic. We could eat raw cattle if we just killed it, out of the dirt pile it was just in, and be good. Everyone is so worried about stupid shit.

  • i do not think its dirty same if you eat at a restaurant its just covered up by walls the kitchen good stuff vietnam720

  • The industrialization in modern countries may be able to provide mass quantity of great tasting food from many cultures but cannot replace the 100% authenticity of something made in its origin.

  • VERY DIRTY°!1!!!!!

  • @thomasoeler FUCK OFF.

  • @obamatran VERY VERY DIRTY :)))))

  • @thomasoeler hahaha

  • @thomasoeler fuk dog

  • @Doleafol r u finished? Come on..more....please.......

Anyway, the food looks excellant and very simple. This is exactly the way it is done and very delicious.

  • Comment removed

  • @Doleafol thank u for the kind comment :)

  • @Doleafol

it is not so much about the food or the taste, which you can easily find here at any carry out in the US as you stated, but more about the people, the atmosphere, the environment and the inter-personal interaction.

  • @mas360

Thank you for the reply. I respect your insight and your opinion. However, I still think I would seek out a good bun bo hue or banh mi instead.

  • @Doleafol I rank banh mi first, bun bo hue second, banh cuon third and fried rice fourth on my PERSONAL list of favorite food.

  • @mas360 where is Pho fixing in your list. I personal don't like fried rice, it is so oily. 9 người 10 ý lol

  • @Doleafol the main difference: the price!

  • @Doleafol yeah u right. u dont need to come to vietnam and taste the food and comment. do find another thing to do dude. kind of taste the shit of us people and say that was the most delicious shit of the world ;)

  • @tuananh1107

Sorry, but I did not understand your reply. I hope that you took no offense. I am just saying that I would rather eat bun bo hue or get a banh mi than eat what I saw in this video. There is a lot of delicious food in Vietnam to eat. I just wouldn't eat fried rice. That's all. Take care.

  • @Doleafol your a jackass

  • @jnw319

I do not know how I am a jackass (as you suggest). Let me apologize to you. I am sorry. But, what exactly did I say that was so offensive? I meant no offense. In my original comment 4 months ago, I simply stated that I would prefer to eat something other than fried rice if I were to travel all the way to Vietnam. I love Vietnamese food. But, I wouldn't eat fried rice. That's all. If that is offensive, then, I am very sorry. I was simply stating a personal preference.

  • @Doleafol Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and i understand where you're coming from. I'm a Vietnamese born in Australia. But this is something that must be tasted to see the difference from VIETNAMESE cuisine and your average Cho's chinese take out. Taste it my friend, appreciate the friendly service :)

  • @ImUrDrink

Thank you for your reply. It is interesting how much feedback I have received on my initial comment. Anyway, I don't doubt that this Vietnamese street version of fried rice is better than that which is sold at hole-in-the-wall Chinese takeout places (in Australia, in the U.S., or in any other place around the world for that matter). Let me ammend my original comment, then, to say that I WOULD eat the fried rice as shown in this video (since any trip would be of many days) :)

  • @Doleafol The reason why this type of food is so treasured is because it's the only type of food that has not been commercialized or bastardized. You can go eat out at your ROFLWFL McDonalds and contribute to the lovely perverse capitalist system if you want. You can go to a supermarket and get your hands on the mass produced canned or frozen foods. You go do that. I, for one, find it refreshing to have imperfections and uniqueness in my food, and not some perfectly mass produced cans of shit.

  • @aznlalaland

I agree with you completely. I find that my comment on this video has been totally misunderstood. I find that street food is delicious. Your point about the "imperfections" and "uniqueness" is on-target. Take care.

  • cái xe này ở đường gì vậy bạn ? thèm wa' :DDDDD

  • @vanhientn: hinh nhu Pham Ngu Lao day! ma may cai xe nay` day? tum lum ah, cung ko co^' dinh dau!

  • @theincredible7 yes, in Bui Vien

  • @DiabloMercy You sound very well traveled, and your manners is world class.

  • @bebescrew fuck off?.......

  • @bebescrew deleted already. Don't bother with these people :)
